Dear Jerry,
Global warming is upon us,the powers that be got the name wrong as its Global freezing.
I know its a bit of a pain for you but i think you need to stop being so negative and look at the positives of the situation.Because of the cold temperature,Supermarkets will be selling lots more soup,the power companys will be making more money for theirselves and you will be helping to reduce the mountains of salt that have built up over the summer months.
You need to keep busy to keep warm,always put your vest and thermals on and wear your scarf on your head under your hat whilst scraping the snow and ice off your drive etc.Every snow cloud has a silver lining,just think about how many times you are going to fall over and how many times we are going to lol at you.
Hope this helps a little,if not,tough,stop being such a mardarse.There are loads of people much worse off than you such as me,i have a hangover!

Dear Auntie Netty ( i have ask you as a man wont give a proper answer) How do i stop my OH channel surfing? Its driving me crazy i want to just ram the remote down his throat but if i get sent to jail for it i will miss my dog!............What shall i do?

Sue couldn't you let the dog chew the remote then you wouldn't go to prison but it would solve your problem, otherwise ram it up the other end of OH then he can't surf any more.

Dear Auntie Netty i need some advice. I have just done my CV i have lied about my abilities, need to take lots of holidays on full pay and will have lots of expenses if i put MP before my name will it be ok.

Scylla I can completely see where you and Netty are coming from but a solution is quite simple.... leave the tins and bottles to one side while you are preparing your wholesome meals then add them to the end of you washing up once you have done the pots and pans

note they dont have to be spotless either.... just clean enough to discourage magots setting up home in your recycle bin

Dear Sue,please do not go to such lengths if only to avoid jail as i do know for a fact you are not allowed to take your doggie with you,which is a shame really.
I would simply take the remote off him and tell him he is banned from using it until he learns some flippin manners.If that doesnt suit then i would 'lose' the remote,he will soon get fed up of manually surfing,simples.

Dear Furball,lying at any time is bad,very bad,however creative writing is good,very good.I would refrain from using MP as if a man reads your cv he would assume it stands for moody person!
If the job doesnt include expenses and plenty of time off then look for a job that does.We woman arnt slaves any more(which i am about to point out to Uncle Gord),so you simply have to tell them what you want,i am sure they will appreciate your honesty and give you the job.If that fails you need to find a sugar daddy.

Then my eco-warriors go unto the allotments and throw said stones at all the greenhouses forthwith, distroying their ability to further produce this killer gas !!! Be vigilant too for little old men with cloth hats.... follow them home in case they are harbouring one of these deadly devices in their back garden

Sue i was just wondering why your other half wants to channel surf in the kitchen anyhow

my advice - make OH a nice cup of hot chocolate and settle him down in the lounge with the big telly. maybe wrap him up all cossy in a warm blanket and leave him in peace ....get back to your kitchen, (im sure you have chores that need doing) where you will have your telly back under your control VOILA !!!
