lack of throat hit

I need a bit of help people:
My first vapes of the day give me a throat hit.
After an hour or so I lose the throat hit.
I'm vaping  24mg of various  juices from most of the suppliers on our web site.
All juices are 80/20 PG/VG.

The question is: Am I vaping too much, or do I need a stronger PG MIX?

Any suggestions or advice will be appreciated.

hm that is strange wingit - are you sure it's the throat hit and not simply the taste - I mean a mild attack of vaper's tongue ? generally sorted by menthol - or menthol mix

I can a bit understand where you are coming from - cause I also prefer something milder in the morning - and I had attacks of vaper's tongue - this is when I vaped my lemon-orange-menthol mix - but regardless what I vaped I never missed the throadhit

Honestly it's the hit that disappears. At the moment I'm vaping lots of different tastes. Not all of them are to my taste, but I'm persevering just so I can at least go through the motions and get my nicotine hit.
At the moment I'm vaping "High voltage" from TJuice.

What set up are you using? What wattage do you vape at (or what resistance is your coil if you're using a mech?)

Using more power would be one way to increase that hit...

Could it be the battery is getting tired?

I get the same results whether I'm using an Ego stick, an
Itaste mvp, or an Itaste vote even a Coolfire1.
I'm using the highest voltage/wats without getting a burnt taste.

I have 6 batteries and regularly charge them.

Well, just quickly staying on power for a minute - at what wattage does the burnt taste start? The cool fire is limited to 8.5w, the MVP will go to 11w, can't remember what the itaste does. What clearo are you using, and does changing the coils make a difference?

It could also be your throat getting used to a juice. Have you tried having a few different juices on the go, and swap throughout the day? It stops you getting tired of a particular flavour, and might be worth a try if you haven't already.

let me jump in here as i been in your boat


first thing is if you are useing a cheap battery then this is where you are starting point is you need to buying something like a spinner or a mvp or a svd then you will have a decent but kit

next your atty now this is just as inportant as the battery as anyone will tell you its notjust the battery its what goes ontop to
now this is easy
aspire DBC ce5 if you like the small style atty
or a spire nautalus if you like the bigger ones

now juice i vape 50/50 pv/vg at a million differnt strenths and i get a big thought hit from any of them 24mg is pritty high for me but i do vape 24 some times

have look over some of them i gave you and see how you get on %100 you will need a decent batter and atty to get a proper hit and vaper

if you are useing it on top wack and have no burnt taste your attys have high omhs thats bad if you want throat hit get some new coils with 1.8 ohms and this will give you a better throat hit if i take my coils to 5v or 12 watts will kill it thats as high as the mvp goes to

Any atty do you suggest?
Getting 2.1 on my atty which is an iclear 30s on my vtr.
Getting 2.5 on my mvp with a kangertech mini.

im not a iclear 30 s fan at all and 2.1 and 2.5 is way to high in omhs for throat hit let me find one for you now this will be a bit of kit for you to take a look at i have a few of them and wouldnt trade them for anything and kangers are very airy if you dont have an air valve you should try swapping from top coil to bottem coil ad lower omhs try this link have a look at it

comes with a 1.6ohm coil and a 1.8 omh coil the 1.6 is good for morning when you need a proper punch to the throat

I don't want to confuse things, and you may indeed get a better result with one of the latest clearos like the nautilus (I've not tried them), but you have two variable wattage devices and so the coil you use shouldn't affect the power you get out.

Try turning the power up on the MVP to start with - I sometimes use an iclear 30s on mine, and premixed red Astaire, and happily vape at 11w without a burnt taste. Just use the wattage setting (bottom right button, hold it and then click it to increase the power til it gets to around 10 or 11). Does this help?
