Could someone recommend a possible good one for me that's not too expensive. There's a US one (something mondo) but don't trust US electronics over here or would it be ok?

I have one of these Jane. It's great, I have it in the kitchen and has a great sound for a tiny thing. It only stores 4 channels at a time, but attach it to your computer and you can change the stored channels in a few minutes. You tilt it to change the volume, turn it on it's face to put it in sleep mode and sit it on one of 4 sides to choose the channel you want to listen to. Really clever little gadget

I just bought a bluetooth speaker for the kitchen, I can just hitch it up to the mobile or the laptop and it will stream anything. Very pleased with it.

It really is great value for money and I got mine from the IWOOT outlet on eBay - fast free delivery.  Highly recommended

It's plenty good enough for me to have on in the kitchen when I'm cooking/pottering...  if you turn the volume up too much it distorts a bit, but for the size and the price it's pretty cool.  I wouldn't use it of an evening to sit and relax with some music and a glass of wine, but if you don't want the base banging and you haven't got a room the size of an aircraft hanger, it's great

So guys if I were to go for the bluetooth speaker are there any issues with security (like i'm in a high rise and there's a hacker on the 11th floor) and also any cheaper than that decoy?

no real issues with bluetooth security as it dont travel far spesh when concrete is involved and its pretty secure any hows
