I would leave them a bit longer - maybe another week - but just try a few drops on a dripper - that does not harm

Clivia, teethcv, thanks for the advice.......think I'm gonna sit tight till next weekend. Don't want to jeopardise my first batch by using it too early.

I would leave the custard for a month (you will see it get darker). Minty needs 2 weeks imo, but others say it's good to go sooner (also gets darker with time, but not as much as custard).

+1 on Dragon's advice Minty the Toff isn't so minty the longer you leave it, which I prefer . . . and the majority of Custard flavours take 3-4 weeks to be at their very nicest.

Thanks Perpetua, all advice welcome for the mixing journey. These are my first tries as mentioned earlier and will be looking to follow some of the other great looking recipes on the mixology section. I think I saw some of your photos of custard mixes on here the other week which were a really dark colour. The CC is still a vivid orange at the moment but does appear to have darkened since they were made last week. Must control my urge to start vaping them.

They were about 6 months mixed I think @paulo, so verging on Vintage. You don't have to leave them that long of course.

I self mix 'Minty the Toff' and yes its less minty, more toffee - as time goes on but thankfully I like it fresh mixed AND as it matures so it'll do you no harm to test a few drops all the way through its steeping to see how you like it. Its my all day vape so if I start running out I just mix and hammer it as it steeps

Thanks Pepperty, new plan. I'm going to give the MT a try out later today. Like you say, guess there's no harm in trying. Thanks for your advice.

I see that you are a vendor attending Vapefest2014, quick question... will you be bringing along copious amounts of 'Snake Oil' ??
Have told hubby I want to buy a gallon or two!! (May have slightly exaggerated there.... or maybe not.. )
