Could be - I really don't know - Ive got Aniseed & Cinnamon flavours that have really improved after a few weeks of staying in the protank (and vaping it all the time) ... the flavour definitely got stronger, but I am a lazy git & dont really want to keep waiting.
I bought cherry I want cherry lol

I've emptied the Irish Cream & Caramel out & washed the mini protanks to get the next lot going - next ones for tasting are Key Lime, Soft Mint and Black Gold .... who knows what they'll be like.

Steeping? Over-rated. ...if it's not "happening" in less than a week, you've bought weak juice. (Now, is there a smiley for hiding behind sofa?....I'll take my popcorn....) There is. And to an extent I agree with you djs on the steeping/weak juice issue . . . steeping isn't going to make any flavour stronger as such, the time just gives all the flavours the chance to blend and infuse. Which if it isn't a complex recipe, isn't necessarily essential. I also think forums with the best will, whilst a fabulous source of information can at times over complicate what isn't rocket science in all honesty. That aside, it sounds to me like you're running your Spinner at too high a setting misst and cooking your eliquid . . . start at the lowest setting and work up. A 306 takes a little time to run in, like many coils, overdrip (flood ) it at first, leave it aside for 20 minutes or so, for the bridge to become fully saturated with juice. Blow the excess through onto some kitchen paper and then try it, top up every few puffs with 3/4 drops of liquid. Don't wash everything after every use and don't dry burn, it really isn't necessary to do that in order to have a satisfying, enjoyable vape. And possibly treat yourself to some flavoursome eliquid, Chefs Vapour maybe worth a look.

Of course, I've got some rancid tobacco flavour that I could chuck some Chilli (unvapeable on its own) or Mint/cherry in & change the flavour a bit (if that works)!
I've got a Dekang flavour called "Red Cola" which isn't too bad (24mg 70/30 pg/vg). Not incredibly strong, but a hell of a lot better than some of the stuff I've inhaled lol

There ya go - see? Don't be disheartened - there is a whole world of flavours out there & it might take a little while to get that perfect "yessss" moment, but it'll be there, don't worry too much

Well, for example, I have just put 6 flavours into my mini protank 2's to vape. All Joosejuice & stood for 3 weeks Banana - very nice smell from the bottle & I thought "oh goody", but when I vaped it? Very weak old banana taste. Coconut - same as above Irish Cream - tasteless Caramel - tasteless (exactly the same taste as irish cream aka no taste) Hazelnut - pretty tasteless, certainly no hazelnut taste coming through Dark Cherry - At Last! It actually tastes of cherry, sort of. Will keep this one. So - that's 1 out of 6 that actually had a taste that wasn't "meh" .... All the juices I've tried from JJ are weak - guess that's why they are cheap!

You see, this is were taste is subjective. I know there are some that like JJ, myself included and some that don't rate them. Out of all the flavours I've tried over the last 4 months of using them, only one is my all day vape. I have tried: Irish cream Key lime Banana Red cherry Black cherry Pineapple Pina colada Cherry cola Apple Blackcurrant Grape Menthol Vanilla There are only a few I can tolerate out of that list, and only one in permanent rotation. Also remember that the mix of yr juice plays a part too so for instance, I get more flavour from the 70/30 mixes that I get as opposed to the 50/50 mixes although that is not true of all vendors! It is all trial and error and can sometimes take a while to get it just right for you, also remember when using a new head, that it takes a little time to break in. Typically on my mini protanks a new head generally tastes better on the second fill and not of any thing great on the first tank. hang in there and remember it's the ones you don't smoke that count

Have you any Iclear16's misst? They're all I use on my Spinner/Twist batteries . . . super simple to use/maintain ( nothing in my case ) and consistently give a good vape I think.

Mrsmac I think that's what's been making me so uncertain about everything since I started - that there are just sooo many variables in vaping. I mean, that's what makes it so great in that you can tailor your gear and your juice to exactly what you need (with any luck lol) but it's also what makes it such a palarva for noobs like me! I guess you do just literally have to suck it and see lol And having a place like this to come to when you don't have a scooby, or when it all goes belly up is just so great It really does help, just to be able to say 'arrrgh! it's all gone horribly wrong!!' and know that peeps can sympathise cos they've been there too! And thanks for mentioning about new heads needing to break in - Perpetua just beat you to it a little while ago, but that's something I didn't know before today! Another little piece of info to tuck into the back pocket Perpetua I haven't tried any iclear 16s yet. I'll add those to the next shopping list and give them a go. Thanks!
