Hi Super-Shiny, Just trying to get a coiling kit together, noticed a B and M Shop just opened near me, they have 0.2 Kanthal Wire A1, this be any good for micro coils, sorry if this is a stupid question.

0.2 Kanthal is too weak for microcoil plus the ohms will be high with just 8 wraps, good for normal wraps around silica.

A birds eye photo of your finished coil would look good on this thread as well, giving an idea of how much cotton you use etc.

Here you go, the cotton looks big but it is very fluffy and light.

Above experiment is based on me using a Single coil in a Kanger Aerotank using a Provari

This is based on how i vape, i don't take long vapes, just one single vape for about four too five seconds so the above may mean nothing to others.

Just thought i would share

I just bought some 0.25 A1 30 AWG Kanthal, looking at this chart, am I ok using this Kanthal to make a 1.5 ohm coil?!?!

Noticed when you have used this particular kanthal you have it at 1.8 ohm...

Oh and on the online calculator what does it mean by free lengths?

jackcustard try this luc bigjohn app it sits on your desktop and you just need to change from French to English using the flags at bottom.

Put a check in the micro-coil box and this means there is no gap between wraps.
