Using my MVP v2 properly

Okay, so after all the total abuse I was getting for NOT using it straight away, I finally unwrapped it, didn't put the plastic clearo on it (due to the number of tank cracker juices I've got) and put a Mini Protank 2 on it so I could at least try it to see how much better it is than all of my Evods.

The side of it has 2 buttons - one marked "P" and one marked "U" (I think) and "VV/VW DISPLAY" printed on it.

I click & hold one of the buttons and get the puff counter (on 1 now) and then it goes to one that I have adjusted to U (or V) 3.3 (the lowest number that goes up to 5.0) and the other one I've set to P 6.0 (it goes up to 11).

Which is which?

I have just tried it on those 3.3 & 6.0 settings and it doesn't taste much different than my Evod with Key Lime in it.

What do I change to "up" the flavour?

I realise that it probably won't taste much different than the Evod simply because I'm using the same clearomizer on the Evod and the MVP, but it would be nice to be able to get more Lime taste out of the MVP just to make it a worthwhile purchase!

As always, any advice/help will be gratefully received.

ps. Yes, I read the instructions that came with the MVP, but they are not very helpful.

P is power or wattage and v is volts,flavours are more from your atomiser!pop it into power mode and up the watts to 10ish and play around from there,10 tends to be an average,hope this helps bud

Thanks, aaront903 - I've turned the P one up to 10 now & the flavour is a bit better - I might have to invest in some Aerotanks or full size Protank 2s or Nautiluses to make this thing more worth it I think.

just fiddle with your p till it tastes right ,if you go to high it will taste burnt so just back it off a wee bit

ok - turned the W up to 10 & there is a definite sharper taste of lime from it compared to the Evod - the inhale feels warm, doesn't taste at all burnt (compared to the Evod) - is that normal?

Just ordered an Aerotank for it too.

yarp you can up the power till it tastes burnt youll know when you hit it(yuck)
as your useing more power the vape will be slightly warmer but the amount it takes to make the juice taste burnt varies form juice to juice
just enjoy yer new toy the worst thing you can do is burn out a coil which is no biggy(only by running tasting burnt for to long)

When I first got my VTR it took a few days to get the settings correct, I still tat about with the settings with new juices, it takes a little getting used to but well worth it to get the flavors coming through correct....
Novelty to actually be able to tweek to my own liking .....

decoy - I have the Sigelei Zmax V5 sat in it's nice new box waiting to be summoned, but am waiting until the MVP and/or Evods fall apart.

Debbie13 - yes - it is working & the battery is a lot stronger than the Evod lol. I'm not going to mess about with the volts, just the watts (basically because I don't understand it). I'll just start low & turn it up till it tastes burnt (like decoy) said then knock it back 1 - hopefully that'll work.

I kind of leave the watts alone and have it set at 8 to 9w and leave it ....its the volts I tend to mess about with...makes a world of difference on flavor

Yeah Yeah Yeah - well it switches on, so that'll do for now.

Not the Aerotank Mega, just the normal one - I'll get that or the Nautilus for the Zmax when I get paid next.

The Zmax - I did unscrew the telescopic bit & was surprised that you can just unscrew it so it falls off the end ???

I generaaly only change the wattage -as in the vv-vw mods once the wattage is set - the voltage regulates itself - that's what I was told at least - and I believe folks in here.

I use my mvp now on 7.5 watt with the mega kanger and banana and it's fine - but I don't like a too hot vape anyhow

also on the svd you could unscrew the telescopic part - because it comes with 2 telescopic tubes - one longer than the other - so you have many options
