I kind of leave the watts alone and have it set at 8 to 9w and leave it ....its the volts I tend to mess about with...makes a world of difference on flavor You only need to alter one or the other. When you set watts you are putting it in watts mode, it will automatically regulate the voltage to give you the selected watts no matter what ohms coil you are using. If you set volts then you are putting it in volts mode, any settings you put for watts are now not being used. The mvp will just put out the volts selected, no matter what ohmage of coils you are using so a lower ohm coil will be warmer and a higher ohm coil will be cooler.....in the other mode they would be roughly the same.

Yeah Yeah Yeah - well it switches on, so that'll do for now. Not the Aerotank Mega, just the normal one - I'll get that or the Nautilus for the Zmax when I get paid next. The Zmax - I did unscrew the telescopic bit & was surprised that you can just unscrew it so it falls off the end ??? The zmax does indeed screw off to the end. The reason for this I believe is because it is a telescopic mod, it can accomodate different sized batteries, in small mode it takes the 18350 in medium mode 18500 and long mode 18650, there are slight variances between manufacturers in terms of battery width and length etc, so the zmax can accomodate a wide range. When in 18650 mode, simply unscrew, pop the abt term in and screw it up ensuring a good contact and you are good to to

Perpetua, that pBusardo vid was good, I've only just got the MVP EL and agree with him about the button, it is much harder to press than any other mod I have, and I have quite a few, I also think it is in the wrong position and should be on the side ( the one opposite the display ) and of a similar design to the Provari or Tmax, think this might ease the problem.

Mrsmac - that's why I was a bit confused - I thought the telescopic bit was some thing you wound out to make it longer & it would stop when it got to the "longer" length, but it kept unscrewing until it came off totally - when the battery is in there, and you screw it back up to "lock", does it stay in the same position, or do you have to keep screwing it tighter to keep the contact? Sorry - not found out yet because I'm still getting used to the MVP.

I find that with the 18650, it screw up to just a lightly above the first visible thread and is secure with no issues. i use mine in 18350 as well as 18650 so if y are using say the 18650 mode, once you have done the adjustments to the end, when changing the battery, just screw off the bottom spring cap; whip out the old one and pop a fresh battery in...no faff and good to go

They are the same really probably just your perception and generally voltage adjustment is probably courser relatively speaking. if your vaping at 8 watts and you increase vw to 9 watts then you've only increased by 1 watt, goes without saying. With vv voltage and assuming you have a 2 ohm atty fitted, if you're vaping at 4 volts then that's 8 watts, increase voltage to 5 volts and now you're vaping at 12.5 watts, quite a jump.
