It is also worth bearing in mind that when FT were first selling the VTR they were in the region of 40% less than available anywhere else. It`s competition that keeps prices reasonable. Without that competition the prices in the UK would be a lot more. The world`s shop window is now the internet and that`s what venders have to compete with, wherever they are situated. It is also probably one of the few high growth areas in the retail economy so there is plenty to go round. There are loads of new start ups in the vaping market all the time. I dont feel any guilt when buying from China or any other country. If they want my money they have to be competitive.

You are making me feel guilty now.... However, I shouldn't be since I have just totted up my orders from Mypack over the last couple of weeks which amount to £129.23 from 25/04 to today, so I am doing my bit, as I like the prices and service. But for my VTR v2 I did search around for the cheapest price, and chose the Janwin site as it did give me a saving which paid for one of the batteries. I have made a note of Aliexpress and Fasttech to perhaps try out for a few items to see how things go. 8 18650 in here lol www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400425154029?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649What mah are the batteries in this mate?

It says the total mah is 5200, I divided the by the 8 to give the individual mah, 650 mah per single 18650 battery, would that be correct ??

The vtr is only about 57 on ukecigstore with discount code So cheaper than my epack and for the sake of not trusting china my choice I had the same worry about buying from China, but I was assured that it was a true Innokin product as they are an agent for them. Sure enough it is the genuine article and the V2 as well. The £7-8 I saved on the VTR I used towards are pair of Efest 18650 batteries from Myepack, so I am not a total traitor.....

I agree, and with my first purchase from China (I was looking for a good price on the VTR at the time) I got one slightly cheaper than here, the real product and a delivery time of around 6 days which I thought was pretty darn good. I would now buy from them in the future if something is reasonably cheaper than here, but their range of products is a bit limited, and no where near like FT. I see it as no difference from searching all the stores in the UK for a good price, than trying out a seller in China, (after all, they source their products from China too) especially as I have found one that is a good seller.

Quite agree this time last year the UK seemed to be the most expensive place on the planet to buy vaping gear. Many vendors here have a ripoff mentality. When vapers found they could rebuild clearo heads, the Chinese manufacturers saw we liked that and promoted this as a selling point. If they had been UK made. the manufacturers response would more likely have been these devices were not designed to be rebuilt, doing so may be dangerous and they would have set about redesigning them so we would have to buy new heads. The CE4 was superseded long ago but a lot of UK vendors still stock it and you can bet your bottom dollar it's because it is the only one you can't rebuild. I only support British vendors that support me and that is not most of them.

Which one do the batts need to be 11.4 or 14.8, I thought 18650's were 4.2v.

Which one do the batts need to be 11.4 or 14.8, I thought 18650's were 4.2v. its worked by amount of batteries in connection in parallel, or series----need a mod maker here ,on electrics, from the way they are connected give 14.8 or 11.4,you wont get 14.8 or 11.4 from one battery unless one battery is made to be that ,laptop batteries are made from banks of lithium batts mod batts are 3.7v not 4,2 so bank of 8 2x4 so each bank produces is 3.7x 4 =14.8,just re read the 11.4 volt batt was only 6,so by theory the batts on what i have read are 2400mah 3.7v 18650 so: 8 bank 4x 3.7v 2400mah / x2 will give 14.8 4800mah not 100% on this being correct
