They come with wire & wick, does anyone know what guage wire that's supplied (so I can estimate the turns I need), I probably wont use the wick, I like the sound of cotton wool.

Just measured mine 5.5 ohms per 100mm.
p.s. I have used the silica wick - seems quite good actually.

Nope! I would assume it would give you 1.65 ohms. Tease-smiley

I did it in my head --- easy 30 x .055 = 3 x .55 = .55 + .55 + .55 = 11+ .55 = 1.65.
or 3 x .55 = 1.5 + 3 x 0.05 = 1.5 + 0.15 = 1.65. Good brain training.
