Help regarding PT2 coils

 Probably a dumb question...

  Long story short - I had a mini Protank, then bought a Protank 2...

 I purchased what I thought were coils for the PT2, but they don't fit correctly - & are the same size as the mini PT.

 Am I doing something wrong, or have I indeed got the wrong coils?

 Gord, I hope this makes sense  ???

actually the coils for the mini protank and the protank 2 are the same ???

 Oh cripes Clivia...the wee shaft thing is longer ( don't go there fiddles )

 What the heck am I doing wrong - the wee ones just don't close flush

The coil on the pt2 that i have is shorter than what i have seen on reviews and such like as well... and gues what. Its a gurgler too. I can see the liquid leaking into the draw tube looking down from the drip tip end.

 The longer one on the left, is the one I'm using just now.

 The one on the right is a new one that don't fit right.

Was they all from the same vendor gill2009 i have seen some fluctuating heads (centre tube thickness) when i coiled some for members on here.

 No, it wasn't FT. It's the different lengths that are confusing me.

 Where can I get coils that are the longer, & will fit.

 Is it anything to do with ohms ( like I know what I'm talking about ).

I'm no expert but judging by the one on the left and comparing it to my Kanger coils it looks OK to me. The one on the right has a different thread and o-ring.

I mainly use Protank Mini 2s, I also have a Protank 2 and both use the same coil (the one on the left) but someone with alot better knowledge than me may be able to to tell the difference and help more.

Where did you get the shorter stemmed coils from? They could be fakes, or they could belong to a different clearo altogether and were maybe sent by mistake if you bought online.

 I would say a reputable dealer...are they wrong for the PT2 is what I really need to establish?

looking at the pics, on the shorter one, you may need to push the chimney part down a touch, so it sits flush on the cup part...I've had this a couple of times where it's not quite sitting right and so doesn't fit up inside the pt centre tube. Try it
