i gave up a long time ago on actually getting worthwhile advice from a doctor regarding my mental health I hear you with that one!!
This is why I took a different route with my mental health care and went into therapy. That's what made the difference for me. Actually, it's been a combination of the two that's worked best for me, different proportions at different times. Also I would say that it needs to be the RIGHT meds at the right time. There's an awful lot of trial and error involved with finding the right one for you at a given time tho.
I do hear you about keeping up with meds just to avoid the withdrawal too. I find myself in much the same position there so can sympathise.
Yes it is a strange situation to be in

As I now know of your location (rather close to me!) I have PM'ed you, but have a look on Google for a chap called Joe, he has a Chiropractors surgery in Redruth (Clinton Road) but I think he operates in Falmouth too. He also is trained in all sorts of therapies as Mikey@Vaporized suggests, so might be worth a shot!

I'm sure she'll have something you'll like!

It's not so much wanting a cigarette as having to deal with the anxiety and depression that come about from not smoking. I've always believed that smoking isn't just a physical addiction to nicotine, for many of us it's also an emotional attachment as well . . . saying goodbye to an ' old friend ' doesn't always happen overnight or in weeks/months. Dealing with the loss of a comfort blanket which you know works for you, can be scary. You have to be in the right place to do that as well - which is why if you relaxed a little about your kit, took pleasure in vaping and what you've achieved so far, smoking might not seem such a loss to you @alopezg1.

my twopenneth.... stick with 24mg juice, but get along to zeldamum's place and try a few different flavours - I recon you've hit ther point where your tastebuds are beginning to clear out and you need to refresh them with different flavours... we all go through stages like this at some point, often more than once, and varying your flavours is key to getting over it
