coil quality

Now before anyone suggests re-coiling don't even go there lol.

My question is...we've been buying bdc coils from myepack. I have no problems at all on 1.8ohm with my set up aspire mini nova s on an evod twist. Coils last ages with no loss in flavour.

Hubby has no end if troubles! A new coil (2.2/1.8) is fine at first but by the end of the day he is getting a burnt taste and sick of it happening over and over again. I'm vaping gingerbread and softmint and can go to 4v with no trouble. Hubby is vaping cheesecake and hitting a (burnt) wall so often it's getting him down. He has a vision 2 spinner and an aspire ets. Even with low volts he is getting this burnt taste often.

Is it anything to do with coil quality? A wick problem? Maybe the ets?

Is he vaping a heavy VG mix?
Maybe the juice is too thick for the attie.

Desert flavours do tend to clog coils quicker than others but even the worst should last a couple of days.

We vape 50/50 12mg from joose juice. Hmmmm

It could be the ets, I had several aspires and you have to get the airflow right otherwise it's no end if grief.I had problems with the ets on an ego but much better luck in the mini nova and ce5 version. Maybe try him on the same version tank you are running or the ce5 version, you may find things improve for him

Just wondering if it might be worth your hubby trying a different clearomizer set up smithyjules?


Some flavours just work better in one over another I find.

Have you checked his clero on your battery to see if you get the burnt taste too ? 

When I was using a spinner I would get burnt tastes when set on low with some cleros, but not others  then the spinner died. I now believe that mine was a faulty one and it was putting out too much power. Now I never tested it on a meter. But the same clerk that would give me a burnt taste on the spinner would vape fine on a ego battery of mine. 
Might just be worth checking next time he get a , burnt taste.

We've got an ohm meter on the way so I'll get hubby to test the spinner.

I suggested we swap clearos for the day too.

He's still partially thinking it might be the coils as some of them have been fine. I think he's just after a provari lol.

Lol Shiny! I don't think he knows what he likes at the mo! The green one was certainly full of flavour that's for sure. need to get a few more clearos to save faffing about when trying new flavours.
