Just got a Vision spinner 2 yesterday, and assumed that at 1600 MaH it would last longer than my ego t which is over a year old. So, used the spinner yesterday, most of the evening and the light changed colour on the switch indicating it had dropped to 30-60% so charged it this morning. Have used it today, mostly but not exclusively, and it's dropped again

do new batteries need a few charges to get them fully up to full power? Seem to think I've read to heard that somewhere? And I think I know the answer to this too, but would it be ok to leave it on charge overnight 

Not not a happy bunny, shiny new battery not lasting as long as old one, new tank tastes funny and my lush new juices I can't touch for a week

Yes, new batteries need a few charge cycles to reach full power.
The rate at which your spinner drains will depend on how high you turn the voltage - higher volts = faster drain.
No, don't leave batteries to charge unattended!

sleedale If you used the Spinner 2 (or any battery) straight away without charging first it may not of had a full capacity to begin with which may be why it didn't last as long as you expected and I think you are correct in thinking the new battery will take a good few charges before it starts to function 'as it should', the person to ask would be ronaldo (tagged) I hear he is the resident battery expert.
And for safety reasons the general advice is DO NOT charge a battery overnight, admittedly I have done it but no longer do so.

Thank you peeps, just knew someone would be along quickly to help. I used to charge batteries overnight too, but not anymore, even though I regularly check the charging battery for heat from any part of the set up. Am even worried about leaving the iPad on charge overnight now ??? Hey oh, it's just about lasted till bed time and I'll plug it in tomorrow first thing, and look forward to it reaching full, amazing power, vaping for days between charges . And if my new NV mini doesn't stop spitting juice at me, I'll re wick the thing.....again

And before I know it, lush liquids will be ready and life will be even sweeter. Even OH, non smoker, non vaper likes the smell of vapes.

a battery will not hold a full charge untill it has been charged about 6 times then it will be as good a it gets it should then have a working life of about 500 charges hope this helps

Also, (ronaldo should be able to confirm this) you don't need to recharge it after the LED changes colour - I usually wait till the red LED flashes or when 'low battery' shows, depending on the mod I'm using. I don't think VV/VW type mods will let you over-discharge, unlike mech mods.

you are correct there charge them any time you want

just don't store a flat battery if not being used still charge it before storage
