Sorry .. me again ! Can I ask a few more questions ??

So I am using my VV Ego battery with the CE5 Clearomizer and I must say all is going well but I would like to ask a couple of questions ?

1. What is the 'lifespan' of the clearomizer ? does it need replacing after 'an amount of time' ? if so how much time ? 

2. I was recommended to get a pro tank - will this fit on my ego battery ? 

3. The 'safe' charging bags - are they an important addition to my kit ?

4. What sort of ratio of PG/VG would you recommend for someone still only 2 weeks in and whilst haven't given in has had the odd craving ?

Hi wibble good questions

1. ce5 clearos I found will usually last about a month or so, the heads depend on use and what juice you are using it can be a couple of days to a month or so it's up to you if you think they taste ok.

2. a protant will fit an ego battery and will last much longer than a ce5.

3. Safe charging bags are a good idea all batterys in almost everything can be a bit temperamental

4. pg/vg ratio is up to you, more pg gives more throat hit, more vg gives more vapour, most premade juice comes 80/20 - 70/30 ish, its worth buying slightly different mixes to see what you prefer, it's the nicotine strength that will help more with cravings you probably should be using 18-24mg nic depending on how much you smoked.

I may go and order a protank then .. not sure if the protank mini or protank 2 would be better ? I stupidly ordered some liquids 50/50 prior to asking on here - should have asked FIRST !! (but we learn by our mistakes) and tried one this morning - it just didn't do it for me but I will leave them and try again soon. I started on 18mg as thats what my friend started on and we smoked about the same. I have only had a the odd craving but I just vape a bit more when I get them or whack the battery up a notch LOL

just lloking the mini one will fit my battery but the protank would need an attachment as it has a different thread ? If I'm understanding correctly ?

I can't add much to what smarties said, but I can suggest ordering some 10ml samples from JooseJuice at £1.49 each for a good way to find a PG/VG ratio that you like.  You'll need to leave most of the juices to steep for at least a week or so after they arrive for them to be at their best, but it won't cost you too much to discover the difference the amounts of PG/VG make.

No, it will still fit on, but you can get a beauty ring which is just to make it look better. Purely cosmetic.

wibble I only use mini protanks on small batterys and they fit fine, protanks will hold more juice but will be top heavy, the threading should fit as ego batterys have ego and 510 threading, if the clearo is 510 (I think) you may want a beauty ring - it's a collar to make it look better cos it fills the gap.

I'd probably suggest getting a couple of mini protanks? my imo but they behave better!! less prone to flooding and gurgling I find.

Although I now use the larger tanks I still think that mini protanks are easier ( you just need to fill them up more often) Plus, with your battery they sit nicer and when your out and about no-one notices the smaller tank and double takes!

wibble - just remember that vaping more is no big deal if it's keeping you off the stinkies. Wither vape more, or try a stronger juice with a higher PG level (I mix mine at 60/40 PG/VG), that will give you more TH (Throat Hit) and kid you that you're getting more hit from your vape.

Already have a list for my next order ... a mini protank (well will probably order 2 so I have a spare) oh and another VV battery as I prefer this one as opposed to my bog standard one I got with my original kit (oh listen to me building a list of stuff to get next LOL after only a couple of weeks)

Can I suggest that you change that mini pro-tank for the mini aero tank, that will allow you to adjust the airflow to allow decent wicking on thicker juices.
