Soooo .... Aerotank works on the sting wray ... Protanks 2 and 3 don't .... aliscampbell advised trying with air controller and yes they now work !!!! Why is this ?! Also the 2 and 3 bases look the same so why is one dual coil and one not ?! Are they interchangeable ? I thought not ! |

It's probably that the pin on the air controller is long enough to make contact and on the Protanks it is not.
Does the mod have an adjustable centre pin?

Can't find my original protank 3 base but if you look at it closely compared to the aerotank base you will see that protank 3 connection depends on how far the coil heads screws in but the airflow base is solid

Protank 2's are single coil Protank 3's are dual col, they are not interchangeable, but you can get Protank 1 & 2 coils to work in a 3 by adding a extra grommet, Super-Shiny posted a tutorial on how to do this recently. You cannot use Protank 3 heads in a 1 or 2 as the coil heads are too long. |
