Total newbie- question about juices

Hi I'm brand new to the world of vaping- started on Sunday morning so 3 days cig free


One thing that that I have noticed the juice loses its taste after a few drags is this normal? Or are there particular flavours I should be using ?

What brand and flavour juice are you using at the moment? Also, what battery and clearo are you using? They will make a difference too

If you stop vaping for maybe 20mins then go back to it, does the flavour come back?

js12 ello & welcome - juices are a weird thing with the flavour miraculously disappearing for no apparent reason - it does happen - if you've got a mint/menthol flavour that can help, or a drink to interrupt the vaping.

As Ripshod said - sometimes just having a "gap" inbetween chain-vaping can help too.

this to me sounds like a wicking problem if you only get a few drags

Welcome js12

as I remind myself (often ) if you eat or drink anything yummy, it tastes good, then drops off. The first sip of a Pint/coffee/coke is always the best.

and what about Maltesers? The first few are heaven, by the time I've finished a family box, they are tasteless.

Exactly my thinkin ronaldo. As a new vaper possibly a ce4/ce5 clearomizer.

Hi js12   new here myself this is what I have been finding out - for me it took a while for my taste buds to adjust - I'm almost 4 weeks in and mine have started to come back & food tastes much better. I've noticed that if I switch flavours around (have a couple on the go at the same time) I get a better flavour from my vaping, although there might come a point when everything tastes a bit ick (which is where I was this past weekend) but it's sorting itself out now after I switched between a mint and an aniseed flavour which cleaned out my taste buds. Some juices have a stronger flavour than others as well - might be worth sending for some samples of different ones to try and see which ones you prefer. I do find that if I chain vape then my vapour gets warmer and theres less of a taste so I make myself put the ecig down and have a drink then the next time I puff I get a nice flavoursome hit again.

A few possible reasons given so far. If you could give us some idea of just what kit you are useing, we should be able to point you in the right direction to cure your woes.

I have to agree with snow - I'm also relatively new and so still experimenting, I like snow have two on the go at anyone time so that I can have a change. i also have a few different flavours so can also mix it up a bit

js12 - a warm welcome from me too! I absolutely agree with the comments above, lots of vaping tends to numb the tastebuds, make sure you drink plenty of water to rehydrate, and have a selection of different flavours to keep those buds guessing what's coming next

AND AND AND - if you have a ridiculous number of devices (like I have ) with different juices in each tank (like I have), mark them with what's in them or it ends up as a total lottery as to what you're going to vape
