I use compare the market as my daughter loves the teddy that you get whenever you take out a policy through them. They are generally around the mark of all the other comparison websites.

I compare the meerkats and then go direct to the company near the top that doesn't sound like a load of useless tosh. (Usually Aviva or LV or something like that). Then I get all "oh no, that's a rubbish quote" with them until I'm happy. I always like it when they say "£420 - how does that sound?" and I say, "about £320 more than I want to pay".... My Toyota sports car was .... wait for it.... wait for it.... £168.

I know, I know. There are only 2 possibles. 1. I am a git... and complain at paying even £168 just to be "legal". 2. Where I live... got to be low risk. ?? dunno. My others are less cheap, but still under £300.

That's why I use them - my youngest nephew is collecting them and tells us which one he wants next whenever anyone in the family mentions insurance of any kind!

I tried all the different comparison sites, compare meercat was cheapest so rang the cheapest told em I could get it cheaper elsewhere they said good luck good bye. I love the toys also, and tracking their journey is ace.

I wouldn't have thought I lived in a high risk area, infact I moved from a very very high risk area where they nick cars just to get them to the next pub, and now pay more insurance. I shouldn't complain its not mega money compared to some I hear just over £300, but I want a Toyota sports car..... That wouldn't be the mr2 would it?
