I think it's a case of opposition parties and individual MPs supporting what's right while big P and big T bribe committee members and the party that drafts the legislation. It wouldn't surprise me if they give the shadow health minister a backhander though. Note non-libellous phrasing.

As you know I've been on e-cigs for 3 years (next week is my anniversary) and have noticed a huge difference to my health as a result. I only use generation 2 or 3 devices and there has been no cost to the NHS

Before e-cigs I was smoking an ounce a day of tobacco - and having a chest infection every 3 months. Now I just buy copious amounts of perfume (good for the economy) because I can smell again and haven't had a chest infection in 3 years

Plus when I tried NRT (too many times) before e-cigs I would get psychotic within 20 hours. I started on 36mg/ml 3 years ago and it was enough nicotine to stave off psychosis. In fact I got admitted to RCH twice last year for having too little nicotine (reducing my nic/ml concentration too fast)

So you can see the benefits not just for me but for the NHS

Great to see the tide is turning.

Also great to see Andrew George has signed it already. My small claim to fame, his son and mine were at school together and used to go to his house, now and again the TV crews would be there ready to to live broadcasts as I was either picking up my son or dropping him off for sleep overs.
