I really like the mini protank 2 sleedale but I got 2 RG200 Bottom Coil Clearomizer (2.0mL) SKU: 1528500 from Fasttech a couple of days ago, stuck a microcoil and cotton wool in, they are the same as the NV mini pro I think and a better vape than the mini protank 2, the glass is a bit fragile on the fasttech one but protank glass fits perfectly, they are about £4 each by the way.

Mini Protank 2 (with microcoil and cotton wool) is the best value and as far as I am aware it's almost the same as the NV Mini. Protank 2 is larger than the Minis and would benefit by adding the Airflow Controller and I would rule out the Protank 1 as you cannot change the drip tip. All use the same coils.

Thank you Mini protank 2 it is Micro coils with cotton wool from NV? Cos I can't make them With the NV coils bare in mind you will have to rewick the cotton wool at some point anyway and the coils won't last forever, but to get you started it may be a good idea until such point you are ready to make your own coils. Or why not get both (Protank and NV) and take it from there Don't be put off by making your own coils, just follow Super-Shiny easy peasy guide and although it may sound daunting it's honestly very easy to get the hang of once you have the tools needed.

I would say any glass clearo done with a homemade coil is going to be good.
Today, it just happens to be a mini PT.1.
I don't get the whole thing. The difficult bit is the cotton wool, not the coil. The coil can be done in 5 seconds on any old nail/jewellers screwdriver/drill bit.
You can even buy premade coils, made by Vapers (not business people) on ebay - 2 for 99p. (+£1 P&P).
I guess all these things depend on what value you put on stuff.

Thank you peeps
Will get a couple of protank mini 2 A spare NV coil or two Then think about making my own coils as per super shiny.....already do the wick bit
Just got fed up buying new heads for the aspires and the NV mini is so much better. Need to get organised if I'm doing this long term.

sleedale just for info as you seem to like the NV coils and if you do decide to make your own, No. 8 on this chart is the same as NV coils:

Thank you Super-Shiny I will bookmark this then later I'll take the plunge and get the basic bits needed to make coils.....then I'll post it all to you and ask you to make me some (or maybe not, but at present I don't have anything to test them on.....this is turning into a major shopping list. Ah well, my birthday soon, so it can be my pressie from my OH, save him buying things I don't want) Maybe I 'need' an itaste vv3 or an MVP? Now that would be a nice birthday gift

If you decide to make your own, then this is the place to buy kanthal as you will get a lot more for your money. vape-attomizer-mesh.com 10meter spool for £1.90. All diameters as well. I just used a vv/vw device to check resistance and for shorts until getting a box type meter.
