is it because they what to make the most dollar outa you now on this point i will allways have the odd recreational ciggy take from that what you wish but do they hide the fact that you can get a much better vape building your own heads from you on purpose so they can get as much money from you as poss orrr is it that you should only use genuine heads to get the best possible vape from said tank i only ask this after enjay and supper shiney have had there wicked way with me and am now using a pro tank 3 with duel parallel coil and air flow controller drilled out to 1.5 mm and its lush(kayfun is still better but not buy much) or am i just being paranoid

Its money.. of coarse it is. Not just on the factory coils but the lost sales due to people not buying new tanks to try and get a better vape. People (including me) walk in and say '' im fed up with these kanger coils, they leak, gurgle and flood all the time.'' So what do they say? ''Try this aspire they are better than the kanger tanks'' and ''Oh, your going to need some new coils to use with that'' I cant blame them, they are trying to run a business and we are their customers.

As well as the financial aspect . . . I guess a lot of the customers who do visit B&M stores, are either new to vaping or in the early stages.
Keeping our hobby as simple as possible at first, is possibly a better way of not putting a smoker off?

I'd say it's simply because most people wouldn't even be interested in making their own coils. They just want something off the shelf with no hassle. I know people who vape ego kits and the only interest they have in my gear is to take the piss. Microcoiling, resistances etc or £2 for a replacement head? Most people would go for the latter.

That's very true, the b&m was the first place I went to when deciding to try vaping to quit the stinkys. They set me up with an easy to use starter kit that got me off the stinkys completely.
Keeping it simple is always the best advice when starting out. It was only after visiting places like this, that my interest started to grow into an obsession. Now I may be a lost cause.

It's because, in the hands of the inexperienced, we would just be sending batteries to the slaughter When recoiling first become prominent we had dozens of batteries returned that had 'just died' after someone had stuck their new fancy RDA on the top without a clue of what coil they had just wrapped or whether it was shorting. Since then, if anyone comes in the shop for wick/wire, we check to make sure they know what a multi-meter is and how to test first. Failing that - we make sure they are using another vendors battery

On the upside, some would rather buy there coils even if there what some may say an Advanced user simple less hassle, like 30s 5 coils anywhere between £8-£10,takes you 2months to use them for expmple people look at well thats a fiver a month, you spent that more in a day on 20 fags, hence why most stay to these atties.....
Then you have the kayfun etc, some of the otheres prefer to make there own coils/wicks and are happy to do so,...
like me i happily coil wick the Term C and others, but for the fiddly ways of doing the 30s i would rather spend on premade, end of day i have saved more quitting analouges in a month ,than i would spend on spares....well thats way i look at it lol

Failing that - we make sure they are using another vendors battery Bet they still turn to you VE Jason when another vendors battery or attie goes wrong. I have only been open for 5 weeks and already picking up the pieces from other shops in the area when their customers atties leak or when they want to know how a device works. I am always willing to help where I can, even to the point of spending literally hours talking a customer through how to use and look after devices and atties only to find out they went somewhere else to buy.

Sounds like I am moaning, I'm not, I enjoy helping people, I am sure I'm not the only shop it happens to. I get it with the fancy dress I sell as well, but much worse they then come back and complain about the quality of the cheap copy they bought online, biting my tongue has become second nature. More often than not ronaldo they do come back
