but with all the good advise and coffee I am sure they will return and buy something one day or tell some one about the good advise that they got from your shop and they will buy something so its like putting something in the bank it will return with interest
Sounds like I am moaning, I'm not, I enjoy helping people, I am sure I'm not the only shop it happens to. I get it with the fancy dress I sell as well, but much worse they then come back and complain about the quality of the cheap copy they bought online, biting my tongue has become second nature. More often than not ronaldo they do come back 100% with you there - I even had a lady who popped in for some advice while she was ordering her starter kit from amazon.....she wanted to know about juices before clicking! She was a bit wide eyed and manic - I suspect she had already quit and was struggling. I gave her 20 minutes of friendly, impartial (free) advice and I suspect I will see here soon for juices.
At the end of the day its in all our interests both as vapers and vendors that people get the best experience possible out of their kit.
Shops who don't want to educate, probably don't have the knowledge themselves (there is no industry training available yet).

I'd say it's simply because most people wouldn't even be interested in making their own coils. They just want something off the shelf with no hassle. They do. It's only once they've gone through many coils, of which many are not even decent that they turn to the internet. I was "informed" that my first clearo could last weeks. After 2 days, I wondered if there was something wrong with me. ..a bit like using an E-Lites. Kanger could make them better, but they don't. They clearly wouldn't consider spending 3p on wire, when 1p wire is nasty and requires replacing sooner.

[/quote] I wish it was just 20 minutes, I have had a couple that have spent over 2 hrs drinking coffee and chatting (not just about vaping) each time, had to get my daughter to take over once whilst I sorted the post out so I didn't let my other business customers down. I have to say though on the other hand there are those which come in know what they want, buy and leave within a couple of minutes, so it all balances out in the long run. Like you say markm its all about giving the customer good advice, good service and educating them as best we can.

It's only once they've gone through many coils, of which many are not even decent that they turn to the internet. And even then, some still CBA'd - myself included. Sure I know how to do it and have the supplies for probably several hundred coils, but it doesn't rock my world especially coil building. It's just part of the Apocalypse Plan for me.
