Mrsmac just to clarify, my wife got the stylecraft 'craft cotton.' The wider tape is the Rico one that is like tubigrip, that's the one I prefer.

I was going to order some of this rico stuff, theres another thread somewhere where I asked about it.
Does it work for threading through a microcoil of a protank?
Do you double it, twist it?
I'm a bit confused with it really but just thought it must be easiler than cotton wool.

That's what I got at first and found it was not thick enough. Still got 64.9 metres of it which I'll give to someone who wants it at Vapefest. Would like a couple metres to experiment with please smifee, I'll be camping all weekend. I was planning to have a sort-out and bring the stuff I wont be using. VapingBad I'm sending Mrsmac some of both and if you PM me I'll send the same to you. If enough people want samples I won't have any of the Rico 4mm left by Vapefest.

I'm a bit of a numpty when it comes to the tech stuff but I think the coils I use are 2mm. They are the Nature Vape ones and when I had a Protank 3 they fitted. The 5mm stuff I just cut a length off, make a diagonal cut at one end so it's thinner to twirl one end before pushing through the coil. Then pull it through until I feel resistance and trim. I haven't noticed any difference in flavour or vapour to cotton wool.

I'm a bit confused with it really but just thought it must be easiler than cotton wool. Not familiar with a protank coil, but I use it in a Spheroid and Kayfun v3.1 I use 2mm coils. To fit, cut across the tape with good sharp scissors at an acute angle so it has a point. I use it single, it's then easier than cotton wool to thread. I find that with cotton wool the flavour fades towards the end of a days vaping, this doesn't seem to happen with the tape.
