Seriously folks, you all have nothing to apologise for If any threads are moved, it's mainly done to help you get quicker replies

I realise now that this was the wrong place for it, other threads I have done recently have gone in 'tips and tricks'.
Maybe a 'New Member Introductions' and a separate ' Beginner's questions ' section that could have a few stickys that answer some of the recurring questions that are always asked?

We have an absolute beginners board ??? . been a very very long time since you needed to start a thread there blakey, probably even before VE Jason became your favourite vendor!

I'm liking that idea & I think those board titles you suggested could solve the problem - at least to a certain extent However, we could end up with the same issue - i.e. what is a beginner's question & what isn't? Above all, no matter what we call the boards, I don't want new members (who may never have even tried an e-cig yet or just a ciggie lookalike) to be overwhelmed & put off by discussions about advanced gear.

If I sell all the devices I've got & start again, will I be considered a newbie? Or just a tw*t? Oh dear, I can see the comments already ffs

Chrissie You do go to extraordinary lengths to keep us all happy but can I suggest a fun idea. A AAEC board game In order to move a thread, you or a moderator against the thread starter will need to roll a virtual dice to hit two consecutive sixes. The person that does hit the sixes has the final say on where the thread goes okay its a bad idea as people would be just posting threads anywhere but it would be fun. I suppose to stop the members taking the p, you could say if you rolled two consecutive virtual numbers of any kind then they would be banned.

Above all, no matter what we call the boards, I don't want new members (who may never have even tried an e-cig yet or just a ciggie lookalike) to be overwhelmed & put off by discussions about advanced gear. Yes I can see that looking at threads that are discussing things like mechs rba's and the like can put someone off who thinking about vaping, being that they are too technical. A description of what should be discussed in the section may help, like '' Any questions about and e-cigs and starter kits and advice on starting vaping and quitting smoking'' Or does that narrow the section too much. I had only been vaping a starter kit for 4 weeks when I moved to vv/vw, and there are many using starter kits that ask for advice on getting a vv/vw device to move up to. There is obviously an overlap between starter kit and vv/vw with it being more common now. However you arrange the forum sections, You may want to consider arranging the relevant guides and advice to accompany the relevant section, so it is easy for people to find and read, so as to help make informed decisions. Roscopecotrain is doing some good blogs/guides discussing starter kits and Super-Shiny has done some good guides on micro coils and recoiling. There are other useful guides that I don't recall the authors just now.
Im starting to ramble and suggest more work than you originally were thinking of, so ill stop for breath.
