Always remember on my apprenticeship (bear in mind I was the only girl on the course with approx 15 blokes) - we were in a class and the lecturer had just explained something and asked if we all understood it - everyone kept quiet except numptybrain (ME!) .. the lecturer then proceeded to go round the entire room and ask everyone else to explain what he'd just said to me .. no-one could .... but I was the only numpty who'd had the balls to say "errr sorry no i don't get it!" .. from that day on I have always asked questions no matter how stoopid they may appear as you can guarantee someone else don't know but doesn't want to say

It's TRUE!!!

I always think "oh it's probably expired" and don't bother trying to find the discount code, only to be cruelly denied my 1.5% off because it WAS still valid and I WOULD have saved money
