Mine's just arrived, Aero base and topper, I fitted a Kanger 2 head in it, broke the post off, but put the silicon bit back on to hold the flavour wick in place, 5 drops of CVs "The Disciple" to try, and it still gurgles/crackles like most Kangers, but so far I've had more than 15 vapes out of it with no dry hits, I can taste the juice no problem, very few clouds, which I wouldn't expect with this juice 50/50 at 2.3ohm on a Vamo 5S attached to a KSD Mech set to 10w, so in my estimation it is definitely interesting, now to see what else steammonkey comes up with

It's not a bad idea. (is it?) The trouble with all this stuff is things are getting very confusing. If I didn't want to make wire/wick (coils) for a dripper, I'd just use some ready-made silica 1.8ohm. Ideally, a dripper works good with a coil you can pull the cotton wool out of and re-wick. using a Kanger coil could be sensible (and cheaper than lots of 306s)... but ultimately it's going to cost a bit much. One bad juice and that might be the end of the coil head.... unless they soak clean/dry burn... which is faffing around rather too much. ??? What do you mean one bad juice and end of the coil head?

What do you mean one bad juice and end of the coil head? Sometimes you can't shift the taste of a liquid you don't like from a wick/coil. That's why my preference is to make a coil and use cotton, so you can pull the cotton out.

Mine arrived this week. Initial thoughts was its crap, no flavour, no vapour and very gurgly. However, after a few pulls on it, the coil seemed to bed in and it's now vaping very well. Excellent flavour and a good bit of vapour off it too. It's still gurgly though, I've now put the silicone stopper thingy back on and it's not as bad. I've noticed the housing gets quite hot as well.
