Mr Mac has taken a real liking to a liquid but the vendor does not have a concentrate version. I wouldn't mind so much but he goes through approx 50ml a month which costs a fair bit on e juice. Does anyone know where to start when trying to replicate the flavour at home? I have no idea of the concentrates used.
it is called tropical punch but is described as:
Gold rum and apricot liqueur in addition with wonderful flavours to make this punch tropical.
to be honest, all I an taste when I vape it is rum and lime with a hint of something else
can anyone help?

Not seen that one, sounds rather nice though, who is it by?
The one I'd like to replicate is Salted caramel by HerbalTides, caramel is the easy bit but how do you add salt?

Try this Q . . . the OneonOne concentrates I've so far used have been very enjoyable, though how this compares to the one you've tried I wouldn't know. www.chefsvapour.co.uk/Salted_Caramel/p1901058_11790582.aspxWithout trying the actual eliquid Mrsmac, I couldn't say - what does it taste like to your OH, can he break down the individual flavours a little more?

He is hopeless at things like that Perpetua I take it from time to time and there is definitely rum, lime and possibly pineapple. I am not sure about the apricot lacquer part in the description but then again, I have no clue what apricots taste like!

Not much help then is he Mrsmac. Lorann make a Tropical Punch Flavouring, TPA make a Hawaiian Drink, DV a Fruit Punch any of those, with a dash of Rum flavouring could be a starting point in the quest?

Dr Vapor also do a Hawiian Punch concentrate. You could try getting a sneaky bottle of that and mix it up for him. As well as the above mentioned flavourings, and see what one(s) he likes best.
Of course, if he's paying for his own (is he?), then leave him to it. If you're paying, tell him to choose his weapon or buy his own.

Thank you Perpetua going to have a look at those mentioned. I did get a tropical something from nanny bakes but that was no good, I also have lime concentrate, pineapple concentrate and rum concentrate. Would help if I could actually mix and know what I'm doing lol

Lol unfortunately, I'm paying and 60mls of my juice comes in at £7 and he won't try anything else lol

YW Mrsmac . . . there's no short answer really, other than shopping around for different concentrates, some mixing trial and error - that might give you what you're looking for.

Needle in a haystack Mrsmac it's doable though, good start is to look at the colour of the juice as you can narrow down some concentrates, i.e if the juice is colourless then what you think might be in it before buying the concentrate email the vendor and ask what colour the concentrate is and if they say for instance red then you know that cannot be it. Again a bit of a needle in a haystack.

Ask James whose flavouring he uses Mrsmac . . . never know he might be in a sharing mood. Maybe he would even sell you some . . . .

Lol, I asked if he would sell me the concentrate already Perpetua long story short the answer was no so doubt he will tell me which concentrate he did mention the states though. I can see why pekoe mix because buying premade means you have to rely on supply and generosity lol

I am not sure about the apricot lacquer part in the description but then again, I have no clue what apricots taste like! When clearing out a drinks cupboard in the garage, to make room for mixing gear, I found a bottle of Apricot Brandy. I've made one mix up with it at 10% plus 10% apricot. It's steeping and I'll give it a try next week. I haven't used booze in any mix before so not sure how it will turn out. I'll let you know if it's any good.
