Wasps and spiders, spiders and wasps. My phobia of both is equal.
I too have had therapy ( for both ) as snow has, but I still remain terrified.
A wasp once flew in the sun roof of my friends car while we were both travelling back to work.
Luckily we were only going very, very slowly round a bend in the village. I opened the door and was trying to get out
My friend stopped and I was very lucky.
I just can't control myself. If sat outside I always have to have an escape route just in case a wasp comes , I need room to run, but in the car, I didn't have one - only the door.

Needless to say, I wouldn't travel again with a sunroof open.

When I was younger we went as a family to Windsor Castle, no wasps, got out of the car, no wasps, put the picnic blanket out, no wasps.
