he got a new job and I know he is very busy our teethcv is ok and I will meet up with him in under 3 weeks I know he will be on when he gets some time that's for sure he looks forward to getting on here but with 12 hour shifts he dosent find the time

Ok here's a thing. I tooted on the Tobh (as you do) and it was vapeless. No clouds, no wiff of anything, my first thought was to change the battery (it's standing on a nemmy) and still no tokes, while I was distracted reading this august website.

Brain kicked in and I checked the wick. TOTALLY DRY. NO JUICE. But awesomely, not a sign of burning, anywhere.

So, in the interest of science I left it top off, with the nemmy lock ring off, and watched it.

The coil glowed as per, but no smoke at all, and after a few seconds (10 or so) there were signs of black crud on the sides of the coil. The rayon was burning! Actually it didin't burn; it showed a brief glow, then darkened into a black glob. I.E., it melted.

Weirdly, once the power was disabled from the nemesis, the coil and wick - about half a millimeter either side - carried on glowing. Almost like it was holding charge, like a capacitor. Jesus jumping H!

Needless to say the wick will be replaced. But my interest is further piqued by this discovery. What is the glowing?

I got some of this from a friend at a local beauty shop. I found the best method for me to wick a kayfun was to pack it with rayon, not just pull through until the coil twitches. I used so much if it was cotton it would have dry wicked to buggery. So, in my small experience, you can't over wick it.
I don't find it "better" than cotton, flavour wise, just much easier to use. It's lasting a lot longer and has no after taste at all.
I may have a go in one of my vivi novas. I find them far too fiddly to microcoil, so a quick wrap around the rayon will do.

Vivi's much better if you enlarge the hole at the bottom of the coil-head to get better air-flow and not suck so much juice in. IMO
