CaptainChaos I had my 900 MaH Efests delivered today and they are slightly taller than the normal ones Didn't know it was slightly taller. Here's the comparison: Tried the 900 MaH in the Vamo, all works OK and the cap screws in fully, but only just. Tried it in the Cool Fire 1 and all works OK, the cap screws in but you can just see a little of the thread although nothing to worry about. Tried it in the Cool Fire 2 and all works OK, the battery cap screws in but not all the way and is jutting out about 2mm. Not 100% sure but didn't think you could /should use protected batteries in a vv/vw mod ? hijack will know for sure

I did read that vv/vw mods didn't like protected batteries because of the added protection circuit in the battery. My feelings are to use unprotected IMR or hybrid batteries in all mods. But I know more experienced vapers are happy to use protected ICR and know the batteries limits that they are using.

I should probably get some unprotected for my VV/VW mods to be on the safe side (pardon the pun) although i've been OK thus far, better to be safe than sorry I suppose.

Think the difference of amount of usage time is nominal , your vv/vw mods already have built in protection so no need really to use protected ones just my humble opinion
