Question for the ladies ...

How do you feel about going out with a guy who is shorter than you ? A friend has been chatting on line and Skype for ages with someone and really clicked ! She has just met up with him and text me mortified as his '6 foot 2 ' turned out to be an exaggeration ! Poor thing had 4 inch heels on and he came up to her chin !! She is not attracted to him at all now even though he is gorgeous looking !! Such a shame ! Personally I think I would feel awkward too ! I'm 5 foot 10 and love wearing heels so that's a challenge to find someone taller ! Good job my OH is over 6 foot !

Thank fully hubby is taller than me and I can wear heals and be the same height....daughter is the same height as her bf.....she still wears heals now and then and it does not bother her at all.....
It never bothered me when I was younger...it would bother me now.....
Why do men online feel the need to lie about something like that!!! My opinion is that if he felt the need to lie about that what else would he be ok to lie about???? Ya mate does right.....good looking or not kick him to the kerb

my daughters the same hight as her bf and the other week she went out in 5 inch heels , picked him up and when they got out the cab he was horrified she towered over him ! Said they had to sit down all night !! ... She has now dumped him

Me and my husband are about the same height,he maybe slightly taller.I am 1,60m(have no clue how much inches is that).I no longer wear heels,but that's due me chasing my toddler when we are outside.
Anyway I probably would not go out with shorter guy then me :)I love slightly taller and bigger guys

I'm short so height is rarely an issue but I prefer taller men. The fact that he lied is an issue.
How on earth did he expect her to react on the date when she could see how tall/short he is!

Funnily enough it wouldn't bother me at all - in fact I tend to prefer shorter guys, as a generalisation the short guys I've known, dated and have been attracted to have all tended to be quite feisty and buff. Ironically though my husband is 6' 6"

I hated being tall when I was younger ! All the fit boys were shorter than me . Always wore flats ! Now I don't care and love my 5 inch heels
