teethcv I've just made my first batch of custard got supplies from A / cupboard used Capella vanilla custard and I touch of Ethel mytol just as a tester now comes the waiting game do you have any tips mate.

The only tip with custard is patience and lots of it... Oh, and make lots, every week, so you have a nice little production line going...  Oh, and CUSTARDY LOVECHILD...  I currently have 330ml in various stages of steeping.

I can't take credit for the recipe rich100, just the naming of it... it was Super-Shiny's recipe with Perpetua's twist, hence the Lovechild...  It's freely available, along with many, many other great recipes here  And, yes, it is that good
