I've been vaping for almost two years and don't mix!

Congrats wibble , each and every stinky avoided is a milestone.

Looks as though a few of us all decided to go smoke free within a couple of weeks of each other and all is going well.

I think mixing maybe one of those black art things where a select few seem to do it naturally well , while everyone else seems to struggle.One thing that I've read though is to many people adding stuff together and getting a really good flavour but didn't have a clue of what and how much they put in, so I suggest writing it down, just in case you come up with a winner.

I've done my own recoiling on my EVOD's and Protank II , and found it very easy to do, but I am a plumber so have all the tools anyway , ALSO the picture guide on here and various Youtube vids go through this step by step.My EVOD's and ProTank taste a lot better with a microcoil and cotton wool , especially as I used to be able to taste the silica wick.

Just remember wibble , don't run before you can walk, and if you want to mix give yourself some time to recognise what flavours are best for you.

There are no rules, wibble, you're happily vaping & not smoking & that's all that matters.

I have simple kit that works for me & I was a very late starter to mixing, it was RM changing postal regs that pushed me & it's only simple mixes, but ones that I enjoy. It all keeps me not wanting a fag ever again.

wibble - you've done fantastically well to stay off the stinkies, and that must be celebrated. It took me almost 9 months before I started to mix, I always considered it to be beyond me until I tried it and found it ridiculously simple. I also recoil because I operate on a very tight budget so anything that can save me pennies is worth getting to grips with.
For what it's worth, a new Protank head is about £2 on average, and I can recoil one for about 5p. Average price for 10ml of juice = £4; mix-my-own = £1.50 roughly.
Apart from the odd bout of shinyitis, my average monthly spend on all vaping-related stuff is less than £12, some months I spend next to nothing. That is nicotine addiction on a shoestring!
Once you have a good idea of what flavours you like, you'll be in a better position to consider mixing. If you come down sometime, I'll give you a quick mixing session and let you mix your own juice that you can take away with you so you can see just how simple it is.

I have been vaping for over four months, wouldn't know where to start with mixing or coiling. Just glad not to be smoking anymore.

If you're happy with your kit and juice,and this keep you away from cigs don't really see why you should start mixing.Keep up good work wibble and if ever want to give a go to mixing go ahead...

It was meant as more of a 'joke' comment about feeling ashamed LOL but thanks for all the great positive responses and like I just said to snow - if mix & matching pre made juices is mixing (well of course thats mixing ... Doh!!) .. then I guess I am a mixer

Dunno if you're about chykensa ..... but we're coming to my beach tomorrow   YIPPEEEEEEEE !!!

I always buy pre-made juices, and don't intend to start making my own when there are so many delicious flavours out there just waiting for me to get my hands on

It took me just over a year vaping before i started mixing my own juice Im still not sure if i can be bothered with it lol but so far so good
