My vamo has just fallen over, I had it stood up vertical knocked it over. Didn't think much more about it untill I heard my atty crackling away without the button being pressed. So I took battery out, removed atty then put it back together, problem still there atty crackling away all on its own, can't see any obvious shorts, can anyone help, cheers

Has the fire stuck in the on position?
If it is stuck in, try tapping it or pressing and releasing it to free it.

Has your button managed to shift in its housing? The external part of the button is just a disc that sits on top of the actual button inside. With a sharp jolt ican imagine it moving sideways and wedging itself between the tube and The actual switch. Sorry but that's all I can think of without having it in front of me.

Has the info on the screen moved upwards as you view it when switched on.

Screen seems to be in same position, something not quite right, the section of the vamo with the board in getting quite warm

Sounds as if Live wire has broken off and touching the inside of the case.

Heat is always a warning with electricity, take the battery out, it needs taking apart And checking over carefully before another goes in.

I got the top Off, had a look inside both wires attached and look ok, no obvious signs of a short, did smell a bit funny though, so I've gone from it firing up on its own accord to it not firing at all, I didn't take board out though
