Any hints for a Patriot dripper

Has anyone else used one of these ?

It's my first 'proper' dripper, I know the trick to get the airflow holes lined up BUT... there is a hole on the casing but NOTHING to line it up with!!! as a result it has no draw at all, any tricks I can safely try?
My only thought is to drill through the air hole into the tank but I'm unwilling to try that without getting some avice from our lovely experts first.

I recoiled one of these at the vape meet last weekend. Ill tell you the same as I told the owner.

Drill out both holes to 1mm. Try it out.

If draws too tight still. Drill both out to 1.5 mm check again

So on and so forth

Q Your link goes to a patriot and with the patriot you just line up the hole with the coil, there is no double casing to adjust the airflow like on some others, like the trident.

My mistake... it IS a Patriot

Its a dual coil and nomatter where I line the hole up there is no draw at all, its like the hole is lined up with the inner casing

There is only one air hole, and it is exactly opposite the logo

Not sure if im looking at the one you have(the one that's linked) but if I am, check to see where the hole comes through on the inside, poke something through it to make sure its not blocked, and it goes all the way through.
Then try taking a draw on it without the base attached using the palm of your hand to seal the bottom. It looks like it has a tiny airhole but you should get some air through it.
If its just a case of it being very tight draw due to hole size then your going to have to drill it.

Yeh that's the one I was looking at. Try what I said and you should be able to tell how much air is flowing.

tbh with only one hole idd only bother with 1 coil but idd deffo drill it out a bit(remember its easyer to make the hole bigger than smaller)
line up the hole with the coil(the closer to the coil the better)
what datts/mod you useing
what ohm coils

I was just making sure it worked before playing with it

I'm definately NOT a cloud chaser, my personal opinion is that they will only give us a bad name whilst the sane among us strive to get vaping accepted by the majority.

All I want is a nice easy way of testing flavours

try hijacks trick of testing air flow (if its ok when off the attie but no good when on try onlt putting it on the 1st o ring)
take one of the coils off if using an evod

on a side note do kinda agree with you on cloud chasing as in there is no need to do it down the local shopping center but it is fun in yer own home and wow do you get the flavor and a hit of nic if you use 24mg 
micro coil and cotton wool is the way to go

I'll accept that and I COULD be persuaded to try it at home one day if the flavour is THAT good, but currently I can vape indoors which is something I could never do with stinkies (I have a VERY anti-smoking wife who has never had a stinkie near her lips), if I keep the clouds minimal she turns a blind eye

Tried hijack s idea, the hole IS clear but is SO small it might as well not be there, no base unit, palm of my hand over the bottom and I can get enough vacuum to hold it there

I thought it may be because the hole is so small on them. Do you have a drill and a 1mm or 1.5mm drill bit? if you do then I would try smallest diameter first one hole one coil.

If later you want to try duel coil the do the same on the opposite side. but like decoy says its a lot easier to make a hole bigger than smaller. so if you are going to try duel coil then another hole of the same size will greatly increase the overall airflow.
