Hello, please help!
Got my Riva 1100 and put it all together and once I discovered you have to hold the button in whilst drawing was vaping! Then it stopped working after about 20 puffs or so. Tried re-filling the cartridge but no vapour.

And don't use the same atomiser on the other battery, just in case there is something amiss.

my blue light is not lighting at all now but flashed a few times! I've got the other battery on charge which says for 8 hours so I guess I'm gonna have to wait until that's charged before trying again. Oh dear I so enjoyed my first few puffs. Ok when it's charged I'll use the other atomiser. Thanks for the lovely quick service Jason and the lil freebie although havent worked out yet what it is as I so wanted to get vaping

The light flashes when it's running out, when you have one charged immediately put the other on charge so when the one you're using runs out you'll be good to go. Just keep rotating them I dont know what type of charger you have but most have a light on them that shows red when the battery is still charging then changes to green when charged (I mean the light on the charger here NOT the battery) it is safe to leave the battery on the charger when it shows green but I would personally turn the charger off over night or if I was leaving the house As to giving the battery a full 8 hours, I personallydon't think that is required, these are modern technology batteries and don't have the problem that older technology batteries had. So once the charger light turns green just vape away. Or if you're really impatient give it a hour or 2 then swap over the batteries putting the other on charge and try again, OK it will not be a full charge but you'll at least be able to vape with it for a bit. Note to others about partial charging and the effect on battery life, I am a qualified electronics technician see info here batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/do_and_dont_battery_table at the Battery University if you don't believe me!

Possibly a drip tip Shezzie, which is used instead of the cartridge if you want to drip e-liquid directly onto the atomiser. But, that's for another day. Best to get up and running first. Just take your time, don't over tighten the atomiser and keep your cartridges topped up.

Shezzie, as Des says, there is no need to charge the battery for 8 hours, the batteries don't have any memory so no problems with just a partial charge

Completely agree with Kev, I don't think it's worth the risk to a motherboard by plugging in the USB chargers (or passthroughs) into a port on your PC. Far better to use a mains charger or a USB port via a mains lead.

aww thanks for that advice. So just one further question, what's the difference plugging into mains or laptop USB As others have said ELECTRICALLY (power, voltage etc) they are the same but, if you have a faulty battery or atomiser you run the risk of overloading the USB port on the computer which is much more expensive to replace than a wall charger which will be probably less than £5 to replace.

Just a small possibility (just incase you never know) it may be that you have the newer 3 click Riva batteries that turn off when the button is clicked three times - might be worth clicking 3 times to test just incase - edit: Jason knows his products better than me so i think he would have mentioned it if that was likely to be the case
