Help got my Riva

Been vaping away and now got a cartomiser on that Jason kindly sent me on with a drip tip - much more satisfying. But it all seems to be a lot of faffing around still at least havent smoked since. Should I be thinking about adding to my kit

Once you get into a routine the the faffing isn't quite so apparentl, if Jason sent that cartomizer then it'll either be a boge or a kanger so all you really need now is a few spares and a sensible supply of juice

Hi Shezzie, glad to hear that you are up and running

Only hold the button down for the length of your draw/inhlae. That was one of the things I meant to add in the notes that I sent you, because keeping the button pressed unnecesarily will reduce the lifespan of the atomiser.

The cartomisers, when filled properly, should last you a lot longer than the atomiser/cartridge combination between top ups, but try not to let them run dry before topping up.

Like Blakey says, once you've been using the kit a few days, the faffing just becomes natural.

Hello, got a couple more questions I'm hoping someone can help me with.

I think I need to up from 24mg on RY4, any suggestions as not feeling totally satisfied. Do I go to 30 or 36mg and where's a good place to buy as Jason doesnt have on vapescape?

Also had quite a saw throat yesterday whilst vaping most of the day. Is this something to do with vg/pg?

How do I know when my battery is charged plugged into mains, is it green light on charger or USB?

I upped the liquid stregth to 38 ish when I first started vaping but found it a little strong - 30 was better (now on 18-24). If you get a sore throat it could mean that the strength is too strong in the flavour juice you're using - I find they do vary as do juices from different suppliers - it's a case of 'suck it and see.' Make sure to drink plenty of water when vaping - again, some juice flavours are more thirst-making than others. PG is a humectant and, therefore, draws moisture to itself.

The Riva light and the light on the charger should both show green when battery is fully charged although some of the mains adapters vary in that they show both a red light and a green one. The Riva light is the one to watch.

your sore throat is normal with vaping and probably more common with PG juices as Foxy said it dries your throat so drink plenty and it should ease soon

the light on the usb charger should indicate when its charged by changing from red to green

Hi Shezzie, just wanted to add i was getting a bit of a sore throat probably been vaping the same time as you on the very same Riva! I have the cartamiser and find putting a few drops of VG (boots sell it in the cough section 89p) on the whatsamacallit you know where you put your ejuice reduces it a lot plus you get a huge plume of vapour too!
