Recommend me a good mech clone

Got a nemisis clone of focal, the button locking ring threads are slack and the ring just pushes up the threads when the button is pressed


My only criteral are , it must be good quality with good threads and switch. It must be stainless steel , I would rather not have telescopic as thats extra weight .
I don`t mind whether it comes from china or UK as long as its not flimsy poorly threaded cack or made of brass. I will mostly be using 18350 batts so I`m not bothered if thats the only battery option it would take. The gp would have ticked all boxes if it wasn`t cack.

Oh no mine was one of the best switches I've had on a nemesis , no need to file anything ! What a shame , feel guilty now having the first one ! Just shows how it's luck of the draw even in the same batch !

Another vote for FyneMods here.
I have a Phantom Brass Stigray from M Vapes and it is a beautiful thing, and it works really well, also very compact. The floating centre pin is a massive bonus over the Nemi (esp. if you change atty frequently), and the switch is in a different league imo
Plus you'll get it next day or so from M Vapes (with UK support if anything goes wrong), VS 3 weeks wait from FT

Don`t worry jaysey I`m glad I got the crap one and not you Ive squashed the locking ring slightly oval so it sort of works now . Just gritty and tight but at leased I can put it in my pocket without firing .

Ive got about 8 pages open on my browser mulling over all the recommended options trying to make my mind up what to go for . I may have to buy more than one .

Like the look of that and the floating pin sounds a bonus. Does it have a preference to flat or button top batts ? or do both work fine .

Cousin Itt, Yes mate, it a really great mech, nice threads, nice finish.. I love it! It's recommended on FyneMods to use button tops. I use it in 18350 mode with a red efest 800mah (two of those gets me through the day ~4ml juice). I haven't tried flat tops, but you could always get a battery magnet if you have flat tops.

Ive got button tops at the moment leo so thats a good start. Ive been planning to order a few more batts but have held off to see what my mods liked best first . The stingray could be the one but I`m going to think just a while longer

flat and button tops in both sizes fit in my fasttech stingray

agree there , clickiiness can be improving by filling any rough milling off where the pin goes but no where as good as good nemesis ! On mine protanks will only work with air flow controller but not an issue for me .
IMO if you are lucky enough to get a decent nemesis clone it beats the stingray

only clicks once in a blue moon but thats more then the nemesis ever did, for me its the floating 510 thats the issue, again that dusnt happen alot but when it does its annoying, and nemesis never missed a beat

The thing thats putting me off another nemesis is mostly the locking ring and button. I know mines a bad one but the ring feels flimsy and lacking in grip . I don`t like if the buttons not locked I can`t stand it up on a desk ether.
I`m 99% sure a nemesis is off the choice list.

Cousin Itt it just gives you a complete overview (including problems - easy fixed) of the magneto. really at £20 from safercigs you can't go wrong. It's a fab mod and I've had mine fall out my mod destroying bag into a gutter - still worked fine. Shorted - still worked fine
