Perpy - am amazed that you haven't produced a knitted version yet. I am still at the stage of: "Wherever I go, there's always my e-cig, there's always e-cig and me." (A very butchered version from Winnie the Pooh ) I shall have to invest in a second one, as I shall be mortified if I mislay or loose this one. Am completely focussed on the subject right now - total pre-occupation. Assume that in time, that will fade a bit.

It will fade a tad Hanow, but it will also become a bit of a hobby

Hanow! Chris has taken the words out of my mouth . . . . ecigging is my new hobby Am at the paranoid stage of the process . . . . ensuring I have loads of spares of everything so I never ever go back on the weed! You're wise to get spares, it's really worth the investment - it seems like alot of money at first but it doesn't take long to recoup. Speaking of which, daft bat me :-[ - got my MK11 SD yesterday - hadn't read the sales destructions properly wasn't until I recieved it I realised I needed a USA to UK adaptor. Doh. Anyways, have ordered one online so hopefully it will arrive in the next couple of days and I can give this beast of an ecig a test - Matt at Trogs was very helpful & patient with an old woman!

Perpy, you can use a shaver adapter for the Nano charger that you get with the Screwdrivers. You can buy them from most pound shops for, believe it or not, a pound

Thanks both Double daft bat me - got the Riva yesterday and guess what it's got an adapator in it. Te he. You can never have too many adaptors I say. So, I'm using the Riva at the moment with Jimmy's ejuice - very impressed with the vape it produces with the new LR atties, it really is like smoking a real ciggie - only a 100% better. SD batts on charge, can't stress how helpful Matt has been if anyone is thinking of buying one. All in all am a very happy vaper.

Glad you like it perpetua, keep at it! Welcome to the Riva Fan Club!
I've just worked out that I am probably having more nicotine than I ever did with cigs....because I am vaping at my desk and not having to go out for a proper cig?
Last night I washed up the ash tray in the kitchen and put it in a cupboard - I don't need it in there any more! Another admission about how much I smoked, fancy having to have an ashtray in the kitchen!?

Knawes - my one and only ash-tray was put away for the first time in years. When smoking friends turned up at the weekend, I as so miffed at having to dirty it up again! But, was so pleased when their smoking didn't bother me in the least. I tried to promote my new toy and vaping, but they were having none of it. Everyone in their own time. Just wish my time of 'vaping' had been a few thousand pounds ago.

OH YES!!!!!
My OH (Alex) is Canadian, and we do really want to get back to Canada to live at some point. Being the age I am, and having no money, I was of the opinion it was never going to happen. The amount of money I am saving might just give me some hope? And the amount I am saving just these last 3 weeks is a lot!
I have had 3 "proper" cigs today, so I'm not as good as some of you that are purely vaping. But it's a big achievement for me. I also think it's just because they are there and I'm not giving them away! Still the same 200 sleeve from 3 weeks ago, and still 4 packs left though, so that's 120 smoked. I'd normally have gone through about 850 cigs by now.

Kath, you are doing so well As has been said so many times before, don't count the few cigs you are still smoking - count the ones you aren't.

Kath, you have done really well. I can understand you using up your real cigs, but I bet you won't go and buy that quantity again perhaps? I have 7 cigs left in a packet, and haven't been tempted, even when my Riva isn't performing. Very nearly lapsed once or twice, frustrated trying to get a vape hit - until I did a clean out, fresh charge, new cartridge etc. And since following Buck's advice for filling the cart, have had better vapes. But well done you. Really hope you see those pennies grow and you get your trip. x

Hanow,
It's mostly when I get frustrated also, but I'm getting used to finding out what's gone "wrong" now. I took notice of all those hints and tips we got, like you, and more or less have it sussed and don't panic like I did. I have also experimented with dripping - and that's something else! The hit is unbelievable!

Hissie, I can't remember where I read it, which thread etc. But I now take the fllling stuff out of the cart (the mouth bit) and put 3/4 drops in, then put the filling back in, then add a few more drops on top - then drop a drip onto the attie - then assemble it. Hope that makes sense. Buckowski described it better than that, but that is the principle.
