I'd love to have seen rip tripper aka 'everything I get sent free from the USA is the best thing ever' video he's gone from honest to entertaining to fake in my opinion.

His early videos were good , but now he just talks crap.

Yeah.... is it right he deleted his Ameravape video? I think I'll make a mod from solid copper, with 510 connector as wide as the 'shit it will short' ones in the cama modz 1.0 (but so tight the thread is ripped apart first atty you put in it), no hole in the base, and chuck in a Chinese clone battery with a couple of hammer dents to make sure. Put a tenner in the box for guaranteed review. Oh and some 'super wicking vibrating cotton' that's really a bit of shit taken off a q-tip. Should be worth a good review!

This guy made a video with an a priori satisfactory safety test of the Amerivape mod. My comment :

"There's a few things need to be addressed by the way. The mod magnetically attaches the base to the battery, so when venting the air has to push the base AND the battery down, and battery weight changes with charge. So testing an empty mod isn't going to do the whole test. Secondly, why not just have a hole in the base?"?

Great find geordie_vaper - I watched Todds review and then the follow up about them threatening to take legal action and you could see that Todd was pissed off but genuinely upset, I know some people think Todd gets it wrong sometimes but hey its only his opinion the same as every other person that completes reviews, Its only their opinion. So this video just sums it up for and +1 to Twisted420 for sticking it at Amerivape

Yes fiddles, benefit of hindsight the aggro is more about how Ameravapes has handled the affair... throwing a lawyer at Todd, going on a crusade against clones then getting caught cloning it up on youtube. Their product is probably perfectly ok (very pricey tho, 150 squid).

No they threatened Todd with a lawyer, they did not actually get a lawyer onto him. Todd refereed to mod as a pipe bomb ( more than once ) but tests have proved it does vent, both parties are in the wrong IMO but as for the clone fiasco, they deserve all they get

That's only decent safe chemistry batteries or IMR, you need ICRs to make them go bang or LiPo for big flames.
