My flatmate and I each celebrate our birthdays later this month (the wrong side of 35!) and we have been talking lately about vaping. I've decided to take the plunge and buy us both our first vaping devices! I've been reading a lot about it, and have narrowed it down to the following summary (with apologies for any terminology mistakes): Tank: Probably Kanger aerotank or another with the airflow tech? Not very clear of the difference between all the aerotank models, but I suspect my flatmate and I might prefer different types, so any thoughts would be welcome. Definitely clearomizer. Battery: Variable, not sure about power requirements, would be handy - not essential - to vape whilst charging I'm more of a easy life sort of person, while he would probably enjoy getting wildly into tinkering, if that helps narrow it down any? For now, I am only interested in cylindrical styles, though I can see there is a lot of love for the box style. I would prefer a medium sized tank, but my flatmate might prefer a larger tank style. It would also be handy to try out each other's kit with little fuss, so accessory compatibility would be helpful. I can't seem to find a starter kit which offers the above, so which accessories/other bits should I get and are they a MUST or a BENEFIT? Thanks for any replies! Greetings and to AAEC. Now, for my first device, I chose to skip the ego's and went straight for an MVP V2. You can look around for reviews and theyre widely known and loved by many. It comes with Variable Voltage AND Variable Wattage functions, and there's not many things better for starting. As for clearos, I went with the Aspire Nautilus because of the rave reviews it got. Now that you can also buy the new BVC (Bottom Vertical Coil) heads separate, it just makes this tank even better, and I dont think theres anything that comes close to the taste at all, even RDA's (thats what other reviewers have said, not my own words). I just got my BVC coils today, and they're absolutely amazing! You can see my full take on them here: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/43176/aspire-nautilus-bvc-heads?page=1&scrollTo=752773Either way, as long as you're vaping, you're happy and you're off the stinkies, you can't really go wrong. Good luck for the future my friend!

And as for wanting a medium sized device, the MVP also drops into this category. It may be a box mod, but its light, smallish and the battery lasts me 3 days at least and I'm quite a heavy paper (I'm expecting this to drop to maybe 2 days now that I can vape at 11 watts with these new coil heads. Here is a picture of mine to give you more of an idea

Good stuff! I'm sure you'll end up loving your MVP!! Just don't fall into the trap of buying 917252 driptips, that stuff is dangerous for your bank balance!
