sammy13 I wish you were right. We have a `wafer` thin squad of players,of which most would not make any other Prem club`s reserve team. Just a "fecking" shambles. Owner who wants to sell.No money for new players.
Who would want to join them ?

sammy13 With respect, we need a squad of at least 18 players of Prem standard, those you`ve named are, the rest no way. Got to be honest, we Villa fans will not have any finger nails left by the end of the season.

I understand totally, and I wasn't trying to be patronising or anything. I think you have enough to stay up though, poor Southampton have pretty much sealed their fate for a start off.

geordie_vaper I think you should take Andy Ankle back.

Dalgleish ruined a lot of careers that season, for some reason he bought Ankle who was a star at Newcastle, Charlie Adam who was superb at Blackpool, and Downing who shone at Villa, what did he do- sat em all on the bench, then sold em to lower teams.
