What a fantastic idea. I have internet in my shop. Just have to move my computer to the front of the shop. Would Skype be good enough?

Skype would work, you'd need a fellow Skypee at the other end. A vendor with a stall at VF, with PC + a webcam and mic/speakers/broadband or mobile internet, or an attendee with one of those helmet-mounted webcams that cyclists sometimes wear + Bluetooth headset + mobile bband to connect with. It'd be punishing on a mobile battery & mobile broadband (can't imagine the farmers field out in Shrewsbury having a cabled internet feed).

See if a friendly fellow vendor at VF can link up.

edit : too complex. Skype for Android + mobile phone = connected.

If the weather is good enough, I may cycle over, try to lose some of the pounds I have put on tonight at my wife's birthday meal! I'll have to be at the earlier end of the afternoon zeldamum, as I have taxi duties to sort out towards early evening. Should only take me about 30 mins to get to you but it's nearly all downhill!! Going back will be an hour, especially with all the pasties (ronaldo) that I will no doubt be consuming, to say nothing of the wonderful Arcadia cakes!!

3 miles is one thing ronaldo, but Shrewsbury might be a step too far at the moment!! Trying to regain some fitness and lose my middle-aged spread, but tonight's meal hasn't helped at all
We'll get together one day, and it will be worth waiting for!

Would do, but so few vapers around her, and public transport in Scotland is pathetic. Takes about two hours to go from Airdrie to Stirling (two good sized towns about 20 miles apart) so it would be hard to find a venue to suit ppl. Think Glasgow.Edinburgh are the only real possibilities.

Dont wrote it off, us vapers are hardy folk, put the feelers out, there must be a vape friendly pub near you, suggest a meet there, publicise it here and on Facebook/Twitter you will probably find like minded souls living just up the road
