I am in the very lucky position that all the hard work and all the guesswork has been removed for me because I like it with no alterations to the recipe so I can literally just go for it I know it will be great as I have already tasted it and its exactly as I like it I wouldn't want any changes to be made to it so when I have all the materials together I can make a mahoooosive batch of it

when I have all the materials together I can make a mahoooosive batch of it Given that custardy juices all need plenty of steeping time, you might be better making a less-than-mahoooosive batch each week for a few weeks, then you'll always have a pipeline of ready-to-vape loveliness

Folks . . . Jerri, ronaldo, Q, Greigster - I've split the posts from SmokeRainbow's Vendor thread and created this one here for DIY Custardy chit chat. As it seemed only fair. Soz Perps, I should know better Neil

Made my first batch of this today. Now just need the patience to let it steep. How long before you can give it a go? Also I used Vanillin concentrate as opposed to the crystals, will this make much of a difference?

Yesterday I was admitted to custardy heaven. My wife & son became Custardy Lovechild addicts after being sent a sample. I got an earthy taste on the exhale so didn't like it. On the advice of lairey & Perpetua I mixed it with as little PG as possible. Tried it yesterday , after 3 weeks steeping, and it's gorgeous. Today I'm descending into custardy hell. I only made a 5ml tester and it's got to last 3 weeks until today's low PG mix has steeped. So I'm rationed to 0.23 ml per day.

Also I used Vanillin concentrate as opposed to the crystals, will this make much of a difference? Give it 4 weeks if you can sirvapalot . . . The Vanillin that you've used is the exact same thing, just the crystals/powder are diluted for you in a PG solution.

Ok then, I'll just sit tight. Only 3 weeks, 6 days and 14 hours to see what all the hype is about

No worries ronaldo . . . and if you don't mix anything else, you really ought to have a go at this Custardy Delight JerriIt really is ever so simple - you just need the patience to let it steep. It will be first on my list if I ever decide to actually get the stuff together and mix.

Well now I'm just jealous haha. I wish I had the patience to mix. I always mean to but just can never actually be bothered. It all just seems so complicated. from what I have read it seems simple enough as long as I throw the cats out of the kitchen when I do it I will be ok as cats seem to love the smells so they will knock it all over the place so I will make sure I am on my own get everything together and away I will go and make my brew I already know not to deviate from the recipe as I like it exactly as it is and I wouldn't want to alter it as its fine the way it is I will use the forum calculator to get the right amounts and double check by sending the information to the member that sent me the custard to confirm that I have got it right then when I have the confirmation I will make it and store it away until ready same issue as me with cats its what puts me off i have no door on kitchen maybe its best done when hot evening and they all go out

It must be done it is part of the learning curve of being a master vaper to master custard making most mixers on this forum has mixed a custard at one time or another as it works well just don't forget the most important part is also the hardest part keeping your hands off it while it steeps ..................
