This is the only place in the world I've found these, apart from LJ's in the States who sold out of them months ago. I just got a Vamo 5v myself and instantly discovered the "GAP" now this product looks like it would make a very top heavy mod prone to snapping the clearo thread if dropped? Or would you guys be using a plynth on top of this as well?

I ordered an AFC for mine yesterday from Jason and although it will allow easier use of screwing tanks on (protank 3 for example) i'll still have the gap because the 510 is higher than the beauty ring. I'll just have to suck it up and screw that ring up i suppose but it seems such an odd thing after the SVD which nearly everything sits flush with and has the airflow holes in the beauty ring.

ruff, I ALWAYS use a plinth (ego thread cover) under protank-type devices, to give the atty a solid base to sit on... so yes use one as well as.. but if usng the afc that sits on the mod itself, you may well not need anythng else

or ruffdog, put the plinth on the vamo ego threads UNDERNEATH the afc, may be no need to unscrew vamo thread cover to bridge the gap. On my vamo, this is what I do, then protank into normal vamo 510 thread... HTH
