Can the touch fire button be disabled and an actual button used? To fire instead? the touch fire cannot be disabled, you have the option to fire the device with the touch fire button or the actual button on the side of the mod
Bugger, oh well.

Just Pmed you myepack, then realised may as well ask in related thread so others get info. Is the one you have in stock actually black, not grey? looks like it in pic and options are only black or silver on other sites I've seen I think. Just got a confirmation from the supplier that they will not ship any in black only grey and silver for now.
I've just checked and definitely ordered black, off to check what guys say who I ordered from. If they are going to wait ages for black one then I'll try and cancel and get one from you, but might be they just went from pic as looks black. Cheers for information.

I have read on other forums that they all failed quality control (IIRC the screw threads for the battery cover) and delivery was next month, just hearsay. E: £5 cheaper than most, no silver That is correct, and the new batches that most vendors are waiting on, the devices will now have 4 screws on the backplate instead of the 2 screw backplate ones which is what this vendor has, myepack must have had their order before the manufacturer found the QC probs

Big safety question from me, is the electrostatic fire button disabled when you lock the device, I know the push button is disabled but still unsure of the touch button, if not this could be a safety issue

Is this in stock. As when I click on your link there is no provision to purchase. Or have I missed the boat?

Its also possible to enable/disable the touch button (press the + button and fire button to enable) (press the - button and fire button to disable).

I got one of these from myepack. To sum it up, I would say it does live up to all the hype and i am very pleased with it. It works great the the finish seems really good and looks hard waring.
The issue of the screw threads does not exist on mine and they work perfectly. If you look at some of the early pics and videos the threads on the Mod seem to be cut into the aluminium, now as these screws are quite small and fine threaded I would imagine its quite easy to cross thread on the relatively soft aluminium . On the one I received the threads that the screws go into look like they are steel insets that are fastened into the aluminium of the Mod (if that makes sense) and seem to work great.

Hi intresting post! If they had negative reports of the steel screws easily damageing the aluminium threads on the body of the mod, this is cheap and an easyish fix, it's a device called an Helicoil insert, or Chinese copy, looks like this link these are used on aluminium and magnesium aircraft parts and work fine and are easy to install.

Perhaps I should mention the touch fire button, it works great and can be deactivated…… it just seems in an un-natural place for me, although I might get used to the position after a while.
Compared to the DNA 30 mods, the display is not as configurable…. no left/right mode or stealth mode (as far as I have found so far).
It really is a bit of a bargain, works great and well finished and can only bring prices down in general
