So, got a mvp2 here, a vamo v5 on order and a nemesis and bagua coming soon. Been thinking about RBAs for the vamo. Aesthetics dont mean much to me, just performance really. Kayfun lite , Taifun or kraken? Any suggestions to what would work well on the vamo and mechanicals?

Yeh the KFL is good, airflow can be a bit tight for some but a v2 has a bigger airhole or a drill can help with that. Not got the others you mention but the taifun has some removable inserts that allow you to tailor the airflow to suit. Not thought about the kraken because I think you need to use wire mesh and I haven't tried that yet. I have a fogger v4 on its way to me that looks promising but again not tried for myself yet.

My first venture into rba`s started last week with a kayfun. Made a simple single 1.9ohm coil , wicked with cotton wool and it performs brill and couldn`t have been any easier to put together. Tested side by side my aero mega with a 2 ohm factory coil and the same juice on both a mech and vamo the kayfun is miles better. Everyone recommends kayfun and after trying one you can see why.

Kraken is good. You can run it with a single cotton u wick and it will push out vapour like a dripper, plus it will give you the option of trying dual coils if you fancy going down that road later on.

I just purchased my fifth one last week, all clones, from various manufacturers, all work equally well and are easy to set up. I also have a Taifun gt which is very good, but the Kayfun for me has the edge on flavour that's why I'm seriously considering finding a new owner for the Taifun. The Kayfun for me works well on the MVP but I use an airflow controller with it as I find for some reason that they punish the centre pin on the MVP. Again personally I find that the Kayfun hits harder on a nemesis than the Taifun. As always it is all down to finding what resistance coil and what kind of wick you prefer, once you get that sorted, I'm quite sure you'll not be disappointed with a Kayfun.

Kayfun everytime, smooth as silk and full of flavour. I have a genuine KFL+ and a couple of clones, for me the genuine one has the edge over the clones for performance and maintenance. The clones leak now and then from the fill screw and the air hole, but I never get a single leak from the original. For me a genuine Kayfun can't be beat.
