Help on what to do next.

I've recently come back to vaping. Unfortunately all my atties were dead, so I ordered a new 5 pack, 2 seemed DOA, but I followed some links on how to get them working everything was fine, but since then it's gone downhill, there's no vaper and they taste crap, so I'm down to my last one. I've had them 2 weeks. I want to give carto's a go and I'm ordering some Boge 808D's. I have a 501 Tornado, but I do have a 50 to 901/808 adaptor, so these should work fine. Will this be a better set up? I don't know if I was flooding my atties, due to fear of letting them get too dry, but there's nothing coming out of them now, so they're off in the bin. What can I try if this doesn't suit? I like dripping, but atomisers last longer so I like that too. How long will a carto last between refills? How long overall?

A carto is really meant to be disposable but will last anything from a couple of days to a couple of weeks.

Hi evanesco, 808's don't work on all 901 adapters, some will, some won't. If you've had a 5 pack a fortnight and they're all dead you should send them back. Have you thought about smokeymizers or normal 510 carto's.

I've binned them now lol I don;t want to spend a fortune of something that won't work. I have a fair bit of credit with LF, so they're going to cost £2.12, I can take a risk on that. I've checked with them and they should work on the adaptor. After that I'll give those LR's a go, are they definately ok on my battery? It's a TECC Tornado battery. Do I fill it up like a normal cartridge?

I'm with chrissie i just got some boge 510 LR cartos from vapeescape and to be honest for the price i may just ditch all my atties into the bin once they don't work so well and then never use atties again - never have a felt that just over a pound has gotten me something so satisfying

They will work fine with a tornado (rebranded eGo) battery - there are a couple methods to fill but for the best and easiest way (IMO) check out the condom (not an actual condom) filling method - video on vapescape (link that Chrissie posted) . Smokymisers and clearomizers are effectively see through cartomizers but they have a wicking cord inside them and a top coil - rather than the wadding and coil method of cartomizers.

The Boge LR cartomisers are definitely OK on your Tornado. No, you fill them differently to begin with - best to use the condom method -

It should work on your battery as it is a 510. When you get the carto's, they have silicone end caps on them. The easiest way to fill them is to half fill one of the end caps with juice then slowly slide the carto down into it, (battery end). Then drip a few drops in from the top?

I just hope you're not disappointed when the 808's come and they won't work on your adapter.

You'll need your drip tips to use if you get cartomisers (though they are OK to use without).
