vamo probs

This is from the mod destroyer. Know vamos are cheap and like a lot of newbies like them for that reason but wondering with the number of dying vamos I'm seeing on here if they are really worth it?

You don't hear of such probs with an MVP. v.2 or a VTR?

I kill vamos just by looking at them LOL

I have dropped them everything. They just don't last!!!

So if you are a new vamo owner....be gentle!!!!

Apart from the fact that Vamo`s are stupidly BIG ive never ever had a problem with mine (UK Bought)

It wouldnt be all from that focalcrap group buy would it ??

agree I fixed a steady supply of vamos but now the focalcrap has flooded in they arnt lasting twenty mins mine was dead on arrival and has put me off ordering from there for life I will stick with fasttech

ronaldo Do you think the focal/FT ones may be clones of the original? I ask because im curious as to the authenticity of thier other mods like the SVD, MVP ect.

I can answer that easily I don't have any problems with the fasttech ones I have seen some quality one from there

the focal ones are crap total crap the first batch were good but the last batch were terrible if they have the new software they are pure crap mine was dead on arrival and I have heard of a lot of problems with them I never got mine replaced or refunded nothing so I don't order from them anymore

I was told to send my dead on arrival to Germany but sod that I just wont order from there ever again and I have had about 5 orders in 3 months so its not me that is loosing money I will do all my ordering with fasttech

Is it just me or do we not hear any bad rep about, semavor,s, zmax's, innokin cool fires / v3 vv's, SID's to name but a few tube vw mods?
It seems that although inexpensive compared to a few weeks smokes they are considered by many as semi disposable. It's a lot of outlay when you consider EVERYTHING else you need or wish to have.
If I'm spending 50 quid on a bit of ham radio or metal detecting gear or a hard disk or other gadgetry then I'd expect it to last and function longer than a couple of months.
I'm just saying !!!!

fasttech vamos and focal vamos first batch were great cant fault them work very well

latest batch of focal vamos were the biggest waste of space ever total crap mine was dead on arrival and doris told me to send it back to Germany I am to busy to sort stuff like that out so I threw it in a drawer with disgust and I wont buy anything anymore from there total crap and you know me if I find crap I will tell everyone substandard crap fancied the little mod they had on last but I wont purchase anything else from there ever

I agree if they can't make > 90 % last a year then don't sell them as they are not fit for purpose and that is not setting the bar very high.  The only electronic Mod I have had last six months is the DNA I made six months ago.

I don't know tbh.

I have 5 vamo's in all. One from KSD, and four from two seperate focal group buys. And, even tho I use the focal vamos as my work setups and keep the KSD one at home........ it's the 'better' KSD that's failing on me.

I have had no problems with my Focal vamos, one from 1st batch and one from 2nd. The two from Fasttech were not good at all and have had to be rebuilt.
On the contrary to what others are finding my focal ones are streets ahead quality wise.

right as far as I know its only the last batch of focal vamos that is faulty the ones with the updated software and puff counter
mine arrived Dead on Arrival doris said send a photo but I told her a photo would prove nothing how can a photo show up the fault dead
so she then said send a video again a video would not show the fault so she asked me to return it to the german warehouse and I asked her for a returns address she never replied so focal have lost this customer for good

may be cheap prices but we now know why crap that takes forever to arrive
I will stick with fasttech a lot quicker delivery and better quality

I've found focal delivery quicker and no problems with anything I've ordered. With ft, I get my order eventually and they are quick to sort out issues.
