As for purchases...

A 30ML bottle of Snake Oil, and the 7 bottles for a tenner special from the guys at Thor Juice. That's all! Shinyitis resisted. For me it was all about meeting the guys from the forum, putting a face to the name, and having a jaunt out in the English summer (well it didn't rain ALL day, we were baking especially when the raffle was underway). Perpetua kindly dropped a huge bottle of PG conc into my lap too.

I did't realise that Andy Sutton was quite as tall. And they say the camera never lies.

FYI it was REALLY hard to get a connection today, I think the mobile receivers were overloaded
This coupled with trying to use a phone to :

1. Take picture
2. Upload to photobucket
3. Wait for photo to upload
4. wait for Photobucket gallery to refresh
5. Click on picture in photobucket, wait for it to load
6. Cut the image link
7. go to forum
8. find thread
9. paste link in the thread thread
10. hit reply wait to see if photo appears
11. If any of the above fail (which they did several times) start again 5

Do all this on a 4" screen, while keeping my head down, not able to take part in conversations going on around me, not able to shop, go to the loo, get a drink etc etc....

There were a lot of campers there sammy13, arron will have headed off as he had something to do involving driving I recall, and some folks had billeted in local hotels. I set off relatively early (5.30 PM) as there were like two possible train connections back to Nottingham before the next one was a 6 hour journey (ouch).

Sounds like a brilliant time was had by all. I'm not jealous in the least and nope I'm not looking at the list of freebies and the pics put up from what people have received with envy at all

Internet connectivity was definitely, well lets say, a 56k modem standard out there. It was weird on the train going down there to see the phone displaying '4G' in Brum, back to the usual '3G' around towns, and then when I tried to upload a video from the site it was....'Oh Em G'

From the pics it looks like all the campers were happy campers Friday evening.

It was free camping all weekend (another yay for the organisers!) so folk have been arriving Friday to leave Sunday morning. So, when the raffle tickets went on sale - £2 each maximum £10 and the proceeds going to the organisers - it's a bargain!

Now, when he's back, ask teethcv how many raffle tickets he got and how at 5 maximum
